00:00A PAS leader has questioned why management members of Global Ikhwan Services and Business
00:06Holdings were allowed to meet top government officials.
00:10PAS Information Chief Ahmad Fadli Sha'ari posted a photograph of GISPH Chief Executive
00:15Officer Nasiruddin Ali purportedly at a meeting with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim in April
00:21last year.
00:22Fadli said this raises serious questions about the role of religious authorities in monitoring
00:27such movements.
00:29He also said the Prime Minister cannot possibly be aware of every detail of the guests who
00:33meet him, adding that the responsibility lies with the officials surrounding him, including
00:38religious agencies.
00:40Fadli also expressed concern over the group's activities, which he described as more extreme
00:45than past movements such as Dar al-Arqam and Rufaqa.
00:49Previously, social media users had posted photographs of other leaders such as former
00:54Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, former Health Minister Khairi Jamaluddin, former
00:59Foreign Minister Saifuddin Abdullah, and several others attending events with GISPH leaders.
