00:40arrested and the harm made useful confessional statements that they were sent by PDP leaders
00:46in Essang land to assassinate the Nollywood actress's husband.
00:50Okoje's media head, Michael Ihaza, stated in a news statement on Friday that Okoje,
00:57the husband of the Nollywood movie star, Nancy Johnson, was attacked at his residence by
01:03gunmen in a Lexus GX470 carrying a reverse state vehicle registration number, PHC-253FF.
01:14The statement indicated that the planned assassination was unsuccessful owing to the intervention
01:19of security personnel attached to the lawmaker.
01:23The armed thugs who disguised as police officers along with two others, invaded the residence

01:30Okoje, claimed to be on appointment and proceeded to the sitting room.

01:40the armed thugs fled leaving behind the driver and another who are currently being interrogated
01:45by officers from the Area Command of the Nigeria Police Force, Uromi.
01:50The suspects have so far made a confessional statement stating that they were sent on the
01:55mission by People's Democratic Party, PDP, leaders in Essang North East Local Government
