00:17She wasn't conceived naturally.
00:19In a flashback, we see a devoted girl who volunteered to give birth to the baby.
00:25Her mouth is covered with a black cloth, and she is strapped to a bed.
00:29Harris explains that the pregnancy progressed rapidly.
00:32The baby will be in her teens now, and they are just waiting until she's old enough, Brennan
00:37asks.
00:38Old enough for what?
00:39But Harris says he can't do this anymore.
00:41In another flashback, we see the girl pleading, don't let it touch me again.
00:46A demonic growl approaches the girl, and Brennan notices that Harris has disappeared.
00:51Brennan rushes out of the church looking for him, telling Harris that hiding won't absolve
00:56his sins.
00:57Harris responds, saying he doesn't want to be forgiven, but wants it all to be over,
01:02and that Brennan will understand soon enough.
01:05Suddenly, glass breaks and falls from above, and a metal pole hits Harris on the head.
01:10Brennan asks if he's okay, to which Harris replies that he is fine.
01:15However, as he turns to leave, Brennan is shocked to see something horrifying.
01:20The pole has split Harris' head open, and Harris smiles before dying.
01:28In Rome, 1971, American novidiate Margaret Dano arrives at the airport, where she meets
01:34Cardinal Lawrence.
01:36As they travel to the Visardali orphanage, it is revealed that Margaret is there to take
01:40the veil.
01:41The Cardinal informs her about the ongoing protests against the rejection of authority,
01:47including the church.
01:48After a while, they finally reach the orphanage, where Cardinal Lawrence introduces Margaret
01:53to Abbess Sister Sylva, who warmly welcomes her to their family.
01:58Sylva takes Margaret on a tour of the orphanage, explaining that they care for 62 girls, and
02:04that the state has contracted them to take in many unmarried women who are about to give
02:08birth.
02:09Sister Sylva then introduces Sister Angelica to Margaret, explaining that Angelica was
02:14abandoned on their front steps as a very ill child.
02:18Despite her difficult beginnings, Angelica is now deeply devoted and ensures all the
02:23children are kept smiling.
02:25Just then, they hear a girl screaming, and Sister Sylva goes to check.
02:29While waiting, Margaret notices a drawing on a pinboard that depicts a girl floating
02:33above five other girls, with the names Carlita and Sianna written on it.
02:39Curious, Margaret opens the door to a nearby room, and sees a girl drawing something.
02:44Margaret tries to talk to her and introduce herself, but the girl does not respond.
02:48Instead, she slowly moves toward Margaret, suddenly grabbing her and starting to lick
02:54her.
02:55Margaret pushes her away, and only then Sister Sylva arrives.
02:59Margaret learns that the girl's name is Carlita, and that she is the one who made
03:03the drawing on the pinboard outside.
03:05Carlita gives her another drawing of hers, and Sylva takes Margaret away.
03:10Margaret is then dropped off at her home, where she looks at the drawing Carlita gave
03:14her.
03:15The next morning, while she is praying, Margaret gets a bit scared when she hears someone trying
03:20to open the door, and overhears two women talking.
03:23Soon after, a nun appears, terrifying her, and only then does her roommate Luz enter
03:29the house.
03:30Later, Luz asks Margaret how she ended up in Italy to take the veil, to which Margaret
03:35explains that Cardinal Lawrence was a priest at the orphanage where she grew up, and they
03:40became quite close because she was a problem child.
03:43She adds that she used to see things and get so convinced sometimes that it was all real,
03:48but then Cardinal came to the orphanage, and he helped her to see that all that stuff was
03:52just in her head.
03:54Luz tells her that, for her, it was a voice.
03:57She recounts how she was kicked out of her house at the age of 16.
04:01It was an exceptionally cold night, and she had nowhere to go.
04:04Suddenly, a warm wind enveloped her, and she heard a voice surrounding her and even resonating
04:10within her.
04:11The voice reassured her, telling her that it didn't matter if she had no earthly home
04:16because her true home was with him.
04:18The next night, Margaret notices that Carlita is not in her bed.
04:22Concerned, she goes to find her and is shocked to discover a nun strapping Carlita to a bed
04:28in another room.
04:29Another nun then shuts the door, and as Margaret processes this, she hears a woman laughing
04:35and sees a nun, who starts crying the next moment.
04:38Suddenly, Luz scares her and tells her that she has something to show her tonight.
04:43Luz takes Margaret to a disco so she can experience life freely before taking the veil.
04:49After a while, two boys named Alfonso and Paolo approach them and invite them to dance.
04:55Margaret dances with Paolo, and after some time, she starts to kiss and lick him before
05:00blacking out.
05:02The next day, Luz tells Margaret what she did last night, but Margaret has no memory
05:07of what happened.
05:08Later, Father Brennan approaches Margaret and introduces himself.
05:12He tells her it's about the girl Sienna, and warns her to be very careful, because
05:17evil things will start to happen around her.
05:20Margaret tries to leave, but he insists she meet him tonight so he can explain everything.
05:25Later, Margaret notices that Carlita is nowhere to be seen, and a little girl tells her that
05:30she is in the bedroom.
05:32Margaret immediately goes to Sister Silva and tells her that Carlita is locked in a
05:36room, to which Silva explains that Carlita bit Sister Romano that morning, so she had
05:42to be sent to the bad room.
05:44Margaret asks why there is a bad room, to which Silva responds, because some girls are
05:49bad.
05:50Margaret starts to empathize with Carlita and attempts to console her through conversation.
05:54She shares that she once felt similar to Carlita, but admires her lack of fear.
05:59Just then, they hear a scream, prompting Margaret to rush out and instructing Carlita
06:04to retreat to her room.
06:06Upon entering, Margaret sees a pregnant woman screaming in pain.
06:10Gradually, the girl's screams subside, replaced by an eerie smile creeping across her face.
06:17Following this, the woman unexpectedly laughs and looks at Margaret.
06:21However, shortly after, she resumes screaming, and to Margaret's horror, she witnesses a
06:28demonic hand emerging from that woman's vagina, causing Margaret to lose consciousness
06:34instantly.
06:35Later, Margaret spots Carlita with Angelica, and as she approaches them, Angelica reveals
06:40the drawing Carlita had shared with her.
06:43It depicts a pregnant woman being restrained, and Angelica points to a specific part of
06:48the drawing, indicating it's hers, and that it represents a boy.
06:52Margaret suggests it's not very appropriate, and this comment angers Angelica, prompting
06:57her to leave.
06:58However, she returns and suddenly kisses Margaret before leaving again.
07:03After a while, they spot Angelica on the balcony.
07:06She tells Margaret that it's all for her, before she self-immolates and jumps, ultimately
07:11killing herself.
07:13That evening, Margaret visits Father Brennan and recounts the incident that occurred at
07:17the orphanage.
07:19Brennan explains that there are two types of church, one that adheres to the teachings
07:23of Christ, which they are part of, and another that turns a blind eye to torture and murder,
07:29all in pursuit of supreme power.
07:32Radicals within the church, threatened by the ascent of secularism, aim to summon the
07:36Antichrist to instill fear and compel people back to the church.
07:41She asks what any of this has to do with Carlita, to which he tells her that he was excommunicated
07:47and that the photograph is his sole lead, suspecting the depicted baby girl to be the
07:52future mother of the Antichrist.
07:55Carlita would have been born on the sixth day of the sixth month at 6am and 666 is the
08:01mark of the devil, which she will have on her body.
08:04He tells her that they are keeping her files at the orphanage, and he needs her to get
08:09them to him because he needs to know how Carlita was born.
08:12He explains that there is a beast they are mating, a jackal.
08:17Margaret begins to leave there, but he tells her that if Carlita is the mother, the evil
08:21inside her will do whatever it takes to stop them, so they must destroy it at all costs.
08:27However, despite his plea, Margaret remains unconvinced and refuses to help him.
08:33The following day, during a field trip, Margaret questions Carlita about whether anyone has
08:39ever done something that might have frightened or upset her.
08:43Carlita responds that sometimes she experiences a sense of unease.
08:47She admits to seeing things but struggles to discern their reality.
08:51Margaret shares her own experience, revealing that she used to have dreadful visions when
08:56she was younger.
08:57She explains that she was once convinced of their reality, but eventually learned that
09:02those thoughts were merely deceitful illusions.

09:49for her, and they suspect that Margaret herself is becoming ill due to her proximity to Carlita.
09:56She orders her to keep her distance from Carlita, or there will be consequences.
10:00On her way back home, Margaret encounters Paolo, who tries to flee from her and begs
10:06her to stop following him.
10:07Horrified, he tells her to look for the mark before an oncoming truck fatally strikes him.
10:13Margaret rushes to him and urgently asks the crowd to call an ambulance.
10:17She reassures him that he will be fine and attempts to pull him to safety.
10:21However, a girl's scream pierces the air, and Margaret realizes with horror that Paolo's
10:27body has been severed into two parts.
10:30The next day, while Luz takes her veil and everyone is present, Margaret sneaks into
10:34Sister Silva's office to look for Carlita's file.
10:38Instead, she uncovers a hidden door that leads to an underground chamber.

11:15However, the nuns catch her and knock her to the floor, and when Carlita tries to intervene,
11:21Margaret spots the mark of three sixes on Carlita's palate.
11:24The nun then throws and locks her in the bedroom.
11:27After some time, Margaret hears whispering in the room, and when she checks under the
11:32bed, she finds a drawing that Carlita had likely made.
11:36She immediately removes the carpet, and is shocked to see another drawing beneath it.
11:40Seeing this drawing triggers a series of visions for Margaret, revealing the horrifying truth
11:46that the women are being impregnated with the help of a beast, forced to give birth
11:51to children destined to bring the Antichrist into the world.
11:55She tries to convince herself that this is not real, but then she hears someone's voice
11:59in the room, and sees Angelica's ghost in a corner of the room, who slowly starts moving
12:05towards her.
12:06Margaret gets terrified by this, but just then Gabriel comes there and tells her that
12:10he has found the files, and they have to go now.
12:13They visit Father Brennan, and Gabriel hands him the files.
12:17It's revealed that Brennan had previously approached Gabriel, but Gabriel had dismissed
12:21him as crazy.
12:23Margaret insists they must retrieve Carlita, but Gabriel warns that it's not safe.
12:28Brennan agrees, stating that once they learn they have the files, they will come for them,
12:34and the only way forward is to prove what they have done, otherwise no one will believe
12:39a word they say.
12:41As they examine the files, Brennan explains that after all these years, and so many failures,
12:48they believe the only solution is for the beast to mate with its offspring.
12:53Margaret scrutinizes the photo and notices a mark on the baby's head.
12:56She points out that Carlita doesn't have the mark on her head, but on her palate, concluding
13:01that the baby in the photo is not Carlita.
13:04They proceed to examine all the other files, and Margaret comes across one with no photo
13:09in it, realizing that the photo they had was taken from the same file.
13:14As Margaret carefully examines the photo, she recalls Paolo's final words before his
13:19death.
13:20Suddenly, a chilling memory resurfaces, and she remembers being forcefully impregnated
13:25in a satanic ritual by the beast on the night she blacked out at the disco.
13:30This revelation shocks Margaret, and she begins to cry.
13:33Gabriel and Brennan try to calm her down, and Brennan checks her scalp, and to his shock,
13:38he discovers the mark 666.
13:41He explains that she has been a ward of the church her entire life, and they must have
13:45moved her around to cover their tracks.
13:48Realizing that Carlita must be too young, they brought Margaret back to Rome.
13:52Margaret attempts to leave, but Brennan explains that she can't leave.
13:56He adds that it's June 6th, midnight, indicating that they will be coming for her imminently.
14:02Margaret declares that if she is indeed pregnant, she needs it out of her immediately.
14:07The group rushes off to seek medical intervention for the abortion, but Margaret's health
14:12rapidly deteriorates during the journey, and suddenly another car crashes into theirs,
14:18resulting in the tragic deaths of everyone except Margaret.
14:22As Margaret emerges from the wreckage, strange movements begin to convulse through her body,
14:27and after a moment, her abdomen suddenly swells, as if her womb is rapidly filling.
14:34She awakens strapped to a hospital bed, and is greeted by Cardinal Lawrence, the head
14:39of the conspiracy.
14:40He tells her that the baby she's about to bear will redeem the church, and bring the
14:44people back to God.
14:45They then take her to the labor room, where she gives birth to two children, a girl and
14:50a boy.
14:51The doctor hands the boy to Sister Sylva, and everyone present gently touches his forehead
14:56in a solemn ritual.
14:58Margaret asks Lawrence if can he hold her son, to which Sylva says she is right, as
15:03a child needs to bond with its mother.
15:06She hands him the boy and says she did so well.
15:09Margaret suddenly stabs Lawrence in his neck, which shocks everyone present there, but she
15:14cannot bring herself to kill her son.
15:17Sylva snatches the boy from her, and Luz stabs Margaret, causing her to collapse.
15:21The conspirators flee with the boy, leaving Margaret and the newborn girl behind, and
15:27Sister Sylva orders to burn everything to cover their tracks.
15:31Carlita emerges as Margaret's unexpected savior, rescuing her and her daughter from
15:36the perilous situation.
15:37As Margaret looks back at the engulfing flames, she catches a chilling glimpse of her assailant,
15:43an ominous, demonic jackal lurking within the inferno.
15:47The baby boy is given to American diplomat Robert Thorne to secretly replace the child
15:53his wife Catherine has supposedly miscarried.
15:56Years later, Margaret lives secluded in the mountains with Carlita and her daughter, now
16:01a happy family.
16:03However, their peace is shattered when Brennan reappears, warning Margaret that they know
16:08she is alive.
16:09He explains that none of them were supposed to survive, especially the girl, and they
16:14will come for her.
16:15Before leaving, he reveals that her son has been named Damien, and the movie ends here.
