00:00As-salāmu ʿalaykum.
00:16ʿalaykum ʿas-salām.
00:17I was waiting for you, Abū.
00:19You look very happy.
00:22Yes, Abū.
00:23I really want to know
00:25what happened with the Prophet.
00:26Did people throw him into the fire?
00:29What happened, Abū?
00:31Okay.
00:32I will tell you the rest of the story.
00:35Listen carefully.
00:36Bismillah.
00:43Prophet Ibrahim
00:45and
00:46the terrible fire.
00:49When people came to know
00:51that it was Prophet Ibrahim
00:53who destroyed the idols,
00:55they were very angry.
00:56They decided
00:58to burn them in a fire
01:00that no one had seen before.
01:02First of all,
01:03they dug a deep pit
01:05to burn the wood.
01:06They gathered all the wood
01:08they could find
01:10and started burning it.
01:12For many days,
01:13people kept putting wood in it
01:15and the fire
01:16became stronger day by day.
01:18Because the fire
01:19had become very dangerous,
01:21no one could go near it
01:23because of the heat.
01:25The fire became so high
01:26that even the birds
01:27could not fly over it.
01:29Many people heard about
01:31this terrible fire in Babylon
01:33and they traveled to the city
01:36to witness this incident.
01:38Then one day,
01:39people tied the hands and feet
01:42of Prophet Ibrahim
01:43and put them on a cart
01:45so that they could be thrown
01:47into the fire from a distance.
01:50Then an angel came to the Prophet
01:52from heaven
01:53and he said
01:54that whatever he wants to ask for
01:56will be fulfilled.
01:58The Prophet could have easily
01:59tried to save himself
02:01from the fire,
02:03but he did not do that.
02:05I just want
02:06Allah to be pleased with me,
02:09he said.
02:11Now, whatever happened
02:12was amazing.
02:14When the Prophet fell into the fire,
02:16the fire suddenly became cold.
02:20The fire only burned
02:21those ropes
02:23with which the Prophet was tied
02:25and the Prophet was not harmed.
02:29The Prophet was sitting in the middle
02:31of the fire
02:32as if he were sitting in a garden.
02:34He was sitting there
02:35and reciting verses
02:37in the name of Allah.
02:39People could not see
02:40what was happening.
02:42So, they waited
02:44until the fire was put out.
02:46And finally,
02:47when the fire was put out,
02:48the Prophet came out of it
02:50and his body
02:52was not burned by the fire.
02:54People were surprised
02:55to see this.
02:56This was a miracle.
02:58Abraham's Allah
02:59is the true master.
03:01None of them said anything.
03:02But most of them
03:04were still angry
03:06that the idols were broken.
03:07They decided to take the Prophet
03:09to the palace of the king
03:11for the trial.
03:13The soldiers came.
03:13They arrested the Prophet
03:16and they took him
03:16to the palace of the Nimrod king.
03:18They put chains in his hands
03:20and they brought him to the palace.
03:22Nimrod knew that
03:23the Prophet had destroyed
03:25the idols
03:26which he worshipped.
03:28He asked the Prophet
03:31why he destroyed the idols.
03:32The Prophet replied
03:35that they were just idols.
03:37Nimrod asked
03:39who is the true master.
03:40The Prophet replied with respect
03:42that there is only one true master.
03:45Allah the Almighty.
03:46He gives us life
03:48and death.
03:49Hearing this,
03:51the king got angry.
03:53He stood up in anger
03:54and said,
03:55I can give you life and death.
03:57Just wait
03:59and see.
04:00He asked his soldiers
04:01to bring two slaves there.
04:06The king asked
04:07to kill one of the slaves.
04:11The soldiers took out
04:13their swords
04:14and killed one of the slaves.
04:16Did you see?
04:17I can give you death.
04:19Nimrod said to Fakhr,
04:21kill the other one as well.
04:23Nimrod said to the soldiers.
04:26But before the soldiers
04:27could attack with their swords,
04:31he asked them to stop.
04:32He ordered them
04:35not to kill him
04:36but to leave him alive.
04:38Then he addressed
04:39the Prophet and said,
04:41Did you see?
04:42I can give you life as well.
04:44Did you see?
04:45The Prophet replied,
04:46Allah the Almighty.
04:48The sun rises from the east.
04:50Can you rise it from the west?
04:52Can you do this?
04:54Nimrod became silent.
04:56He was really angry
04:58at the Prophet's reply.
05:01Prophet Abraham
05:03called people for worship
05:05for a long time.
05:09But in Babylon,
05:11no one listened to him
05:13but a woman
05:15and a man.
05:16That woman's name
05:17was Sarah.
05:18And she
05:19later became his wife.
05:21The man's name
05:22was Lot.
05:23And he also later
05:25became a Prophet.
05:27After calling people for many years,
05:29when the Prophet realized
05:31that no one was ready to listen to him,
05:35he decided to go to another country.
05:38He wanted to introduce
05:40other countries to Allah as well.
05:42The Prophet asked his father
05:44to come with him.
05:46But he refused.
05:52With the Prophet,
05:53that woman
05:54and Lot
05:56began their long journey.
05:59They told people about Allah the Almighty
06:02and passed through Syria,
06:04Palestine
06:05and Egypt.
06:07They helped people
06:10who were in need.
06:13They did many good deeds
06:16that made people happy.
06:17Meanwhile,
06:18Prophet Lot
06:20went to the sea
06:22and settled there.
06:24And a few months later,
06:26the Prophet married Sarah.
06:28She was a good believer
06:30and she wanted children
06:32so that when they grow up,
06:33they can tell people about Allah.
06:36The Prophet and his wife
06:37traveled in the desert for many days.
06:40One day,
06:41they reached an area of a devilish king.
06:45When the devilish king
06:47found out about the beautiful wife of the Prophet,
06:51he wanted to take her away.
06:53So he sent his soldiers
06:55to bring the Prophet.
06:59The soldiers brought the Prophet
07:00to the king.
07:03Who is this woman with you?
07:06The devilish king asked.
07:07The Prophet replied
07:09that she is his sister.
07:11Then the devilish king
07:12asked the Prophet to bring Sarah to him.
07:16He said
07:17that he wants to meet that beautiful woman
07:20who is mentioned in his entire kingdom.
07:23The Prophet went to his wife
07:25and said,
07:26The king wants to meet you.
07:28Do not tell him that you are my wife
07:31because I have told him
07:32that you are my sister.
07:34The Prophet told his wife.
07:36When Sarah reached the king's palace,
07:38the king was amazed at her beauty
07:42and tried to hold her.
07:45But as soon as he reached out to Sarah,
07:47his hands became stiff
07:49and he could not even move them.
07:51The devilish king got scared
07:53and asked Sarah,
07:55Ask Allah for protection
07:57and I will not cause you any harm.
07:59When Sarah asked Allah,
08:02the king's hands recovered.
08:04But the moment the king felt
08:07that his hands had recovered,
08:08he tried to hold Sarah again.
08:12And the second time,
08:13his hands became stiff again
08:16and he could not even move them.
08:20Ask Allah for protection
08:22and I will not cause you any harm.
08:24The king said.
08:26Sarah asked Allah again
08:28and once again,
08:29the king's hands recovered.
08:32Now the king realized
08:34that Sarah is not an ordinary woman.
08:36So he gave a gift to Sarah.
08:39He gave her a maid
08:41whose name was Hajar.
08:45When Sarah returned home,
08:47the Prophet asked her what happened.
08:50Allah taught the devilish king a lesson
08:53and he gave me a maid
08:55whose name is Hajar.
08:57Sarah replied.
09:01Many years passed
09:02and the Prophet grew old.
09:05His hair turned white.
09:07But he continued to show people
09:09the way of Allah.
09:12Sarah grew old
09:14and realized
09:16that she was no longer capable of giving birth to children.
09:20So he asked the Prophet
09:22to marry his maid Hajar.
09:25Then he asked Allah
09:27to bless her with children.
09:33A few months later,
09:34a child was born from Hajar's womb.
09:37He named him Ismail.
09:43Now the Prophet grew old.
09:48One day the Prophet woke up
09:49and realized
09:51that Allah wanted to give him a task.
09:54So he went to Hajar.
09:56He said.
09:57Take Ismail with you
09:59and get ready for a long journey.
10:03Abraham and his wife,
10:05with their child in their arms,
10:08traveled for a long time.
10:11They traveled for a long time
10:13and reached a dry desert
10:15which was near the Al Marwah mountains.
10:20There was no fruit,
10:21trees,
10:22food
10:23and even water.
10:26In that desert,
10:27there was no sign of life.
10:30The Prophet,
10:31his wife
10:32and his child
10:33had very little food and water left,
10:36which was more than enough for two days.
10:40The Prophet suddenly turned
10:41and went far away.
10:45His wife quickly followed him.
10:47Where are you taking us in this mess?
10:51She cried and said.
10:53But the Prophet did not answer her
10:56and went far away.
10:57She called out to him again,
10:59but the Prophet remained silent
11:01and went far away.
11:03Finally, he realized
11:04that the Prophet was not doing this himself,
11:07but Allah had commanded him to do so.
11:11Has Allah told you to do this?
11:13He asked her.
11:15The Prophet nodded and kept walking.
11:24His wife said.
11:25We cannot be lost
11:27because the one whom Allah has commanded
11:30is with us.
11:32After leaving his wife and child
11:34in the dry desert,
11:37the Prophet was very sad.
11:39There was no one far away.
11:41He asked Allah
11:44to give food to his wife and child.
11:48He asked Allah to send some merciful people
11:51to help him.
11:55Oh no!
11:56Why did the Prophet leave his wife and child?
11:59Why did he do this?
12:01Because Allah had commanded him to do so.
12:05What happened after this?
12:07I will tell you the rest of the story tomorrow.
12:09Okay, father.
12:11Before I go,
12:12I will ask you some questions.
12:14Are you ready?
12:16Yes, I am ready.
12:17Okay, then tell me.
12:19Why was the Prophet thrown into the fire?
12:21Here are your signs.
12:231. He broke the idols
12:26which he worshipped.
12:282. He stole the idols.
12:313. He burnt the idols.
12:34This is very easy.
12:35The Prophet was thrown into the fire
12:37because he destroyed the idols
12:39which people worshipped.
12:41Masha Allah!
12:42This is the right answer.
12:44Thank you, father.
12:46What did the Prophet ask the king Nimrod to do?
12:49The Prophet asked the king
12:50to raise the sun from the west.
12:53This is the right answer, father.
12:55This is the right answer again.
12:56Now tell me,
12:57when the Prophet left Babylon,
12:59who was with him?
13:00The Prophet's nephew became his companion.
13:03Another believer, Sara, also went with him.
13:06Very good.
13:08Now tell me,
13:09what was the name of the Prophet's first son?
13:11His name was Ismail.
13:14Masha Allah!
13:15This is the right answer again.
13:17Now it is time for me to go.
13:19Inshallah!
13:20I will tell you the rest of the story tomorrow.
