00:00Hello, my name's Rachel Riley and I live in Chesney and Hay and I've been using a wheelchair
00:07now for the last six years. The last two weeks I've had two incidents on two separate buses.
00:13The first one was a select bus going into Pankridge which was, the driver was being
00:20quite rude regarding the ramp being put down and giving me dirty, sarcastic comments. The
00:27second incident was with West Midlands Travel. I was put back, refused on the bus because
00:33I didn't have the right permit to catch the bus with my wheelchair. I have never felt
00:39so disheartened and upset to be discriminated for being a wheelchair user that I am now
00:50wondering where my place in society is. Is that okay?
