00:00Manila Zoo and Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna introduced to social media their new pet, Ayla, a lion cub or female baby lion.

00:13Baby Ayla was added to the collection of animals in the zoo.

00:17But Ayla is not yet seen by the public because she was raised and strengthened.

00:22But in the comments on their social media posts, there are those who are not happy.

00:26There are those who are worried that Ayla may not be taken care of properly.

00:30There are also those who are asking to just let her go to the wild.

00:33It may also be like Mali who died in 2023 at the age of 49.

00:39Usually, Asian elephants reach 80 years old like Mali when they are under captivity and 60 years old when they are in the wild.
