00:00We've had two rock fishermen, they left their Liverpool home south of Sydney about 3pm yesterday.
00:06They were last spoken to on the phone at 5.20pm yesterday, where they said they were going well and fishing on the rocks.
00:16They were expected home around midnight and the alert was raised when they didn't come home.
00:22So we've had the police out trying to locate them and we've found their car and some fishing gear down on the rocks here and we're most concerned for their well-being.
00:33They're a father and son, the father's aged 47 and the son's aged 17 and as I said they're from Liverpool in south-western Sydney.
00:41They're familiar with the area, they've been rock fishing here before.
00:45We're trying to focus on where the current's taken these people and we are assuming that no-one's actually seen them occur.
00:53But given the location of the fishing gear and the car still here and the lack of communication, that's the most likely scenario.
00:59It's a search and rescue mission but we've got to cover all possibilities.
01:04We do know that neither of these people were wearing life jackets and they've been in the water.
01:09If they have been in the water, it's been some 17 hours since anyone last spoke to these people so we have grave concerns for their safety.
