00:00Today we're seeking assistance from our local community. Strikeforce Anthea is
00:05investigating the suspicious disappearance of Pauline Sowery, who was
00:10also known as Pauline Lawrence. Pauline Lawrence was last seen by a family on
00:15the Christmas of 1993. A subsequent coronial inquest found that
00:21Pauline likely died in 1994. Strikeforce Anthea was formed to investigate this
00:29suspicious death. As you're aware earlier this year there was a $500,000
00:36reward posted for any information that would lead to the successful arrest and
00:41conviction of anyone responsible for this for this investigation. Subsequent
00:48to that that announcement we did have a number of sources of information that's
00:53led police to conduct a number of searches in and about the Fig Tree
00:58bushland area and that occurred in 2023 and again in October 2024. We've
01:06subsequently located a number of items of clothing and we are interested in
01:12anyone that may have any information as to how these items of clothing got in
01:18this location or in fact whether they'd seen Pauline wearing these items of
01:22clothing. The items of clothing are described as a long-sleeve white blouse
01:27with some coloured stitching and some button-ups down the centre and
01:32accompanying that blouse was a long dark pair of black pants. So if
01:38we are interested if anyone has any information as to how these items of
01:43clothing got in and about the bushlands up around the top of O'Briens Rad
01:47around Fig Tree we are certainly interested in those people coming
01:51forward and reporting it through either the local police station of Wollongong or
01:56on Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000
