00:00So, the low-pressure area that we monitored yesterday has already caught a typhoon.

00:05It is here at Huling na Mataan, 640 kilometers northeast of Itbayat, Batanes.

00:11Since the tropical depression last night, this has become a tropical storm early in the morning.

00:17And its strength is at 65 kilometers per hour, near the middle, and will rise up to 80 kilometers per hour.

00:24At the moment, the typhoon Dindo is moving towards the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

00:31Its direction is northeast and its speed is at 10 kilometers per hour.

00:37For now, the typhoon Dindo has no direct effect on any part of our country.

00:42What is continuing to affect is the southwest monsoon or habagat, particularly here in Northern Luzon.

00:49So, what we are hoping for today is that there will be a high chance of rain, habagat or typhoon Dindo,

00:55particularly here in the area of Batanes and Baboyan Islands.

00:59In 11 parts of our country, you can see, especially in the part of Mindanao,

01:03generally, we have fair weather in a large part of our country,

01:06but we still expect isolated rain showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon until the evening.

01:13It is possible that the typhoon Dindo will leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility this morning.

01:18Here is the track of the typhoon Dindo that we last saw.

01:22It is close to the boundary of the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

01:27Between 5 a.m. today until 8 a.m. tomorrow, it is possible that it will leave the area.

01:33At 2 p.m. tomorrow, our forecast track will be at 760 kilometers northeast of Itbayat in Batanes.

01:41Tomorrow, it will be at more than 1,000 kilometers northeast of the extreme northern Luzon.

01:46And because the typhoon Dindo is far from our country,

01:49we do not have any tropical cyclone warning signals in any part of our islands.

01:55And again, there is no direct effect in any part of our country.

01:59It also does not make the habagat wind stronger.

02:02Usually, it is the typhoon in the typhoon category that makes the habagat stronger.

02:08For now, the typhoon Dindo is only in the tropical storm category.
