Storm-enhanced ‘habagat’ may still bring rains to parts of the Philippines

00:03We have been waiting for this storm to pass and head towards eastern China.

00:07This means that we no longer have a storm to monitor inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

00:20Meanwhile, based on our latest satellite animation,

00:24we have cloud clusters or clusters of clouds that are visible here on the left and right part of our country.

00:30And it is possible for low-pressure areas to form here in the next few days

00:35based on our Tropical Cyclone Threat Potential Forecast.

00:38But within the next 24 hours, we do not see a storm forming inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

00:50especially here in Luzon because of the southwest monsoon.

00:53As early as this morning, we already have a yellow warning

00:56here in the provinces of Zambales and Bataan.

01:23Abra, Benguet, here in Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Metro Manila, Rizal,

01:30Pababa ng Cavite, Batangas, Oriental Mindoro, and Lalawigan ng Romblon.

01:39and coordinate with your local disaster risk reduction and management offices

01:44if an evacuation is needed.

01:46In the remaining part of Luzon, including Cagayan Valley, Aurora,

01:51Quezon, Bicol Region, and Marinduque,

01:55parts of Maulap to Maulap are the skies that we will experience today

01:58and experiences of heavy rains, landslides, and landslides,
