Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery is set to partially reopen on 24 October after four years of renovation. Major upgrades have been done on the heating, electrics, lifts, and even the glass roofs, which have been cleaned for the first time in over 25 years.

00:33The popular Victorian Radicals exhibition in the Gas Hall has been extended until Christmas

00:39The museum has also added more family-friendly galleries, telling stories about nature in
00:44the city.
00:45Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery will open from Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm, just
00:50in time for the October half term.
00:52This marks a significant moment for Birmingham's cultural scene.
