00:00So, as ever, it has been a very busy week in the city of Bristol. So, Charlie, can you
00:06tell us what is our top news story in the city this week?
00:10So our top story this week is that the site of a long-running nightclub in Bristol has
00:17been put on the market. So it's Lakota has been put up for sale for an undisclosed price
00:25and this is ahead of plans to turn the site in Stokescroft into a mixed-use development
00:32with 46 homes and some business space. Now, this sale comes four years after plans were
00:39first approved for the site, despite them attracting 290 objections.
00:47Thank you, Charlie. So we will see how that all pans out.
00:51Shall we move on to our second top news story in the city this week? Tell me about that.
00:56Next is that a cocktail bar and nightclub, on a more positive note, has reopened in the city
01:04centre months after it closed down. So this is the Illuminati space on Park Street, which shut
01:14its doors in February at the time they said they were struggling with hospitality, the industry
01:23being up and down. But it's now reopened and it's adopted a bit of a different model.
01:30Thank you, Charlie. So that is a very exciting one for the drink scene in Bristol. Shall we
01:36move on to our third top news story in the city? Tell me about that.
01:40And finally, on a different note, is that the Mayflower restaurant has closed at its location
01:50of more than 20 years. But it is reopening in a new location, fortunately,
01:56and it's due to the redevelopment of its current site.
