00:00Bristol Rovers and obviously across 2024, it's been an interesting year for them. Not
00:09really challenging at the top and just avoiding the bottom as well. How do you sort of look
00:14back on 2024? Has it been the best moments, best matches? It can be quite tough to look
00:20back, but sometimes when you approach December time, you do tend to look back across the
00:26Canada year onto things that have occurred and maybe some moments that the Bristol Rovers
00:31fans can look back on and be slightly happy with. What sort of stands out in that sort
00:36of area where it's best moments, best matches for Bristol Rovers in 2024? Well, I think
00:44right at the start of the year, actually, it was just at the end of January, was probably
00:48actually their highlight of the year. So soon in, they beat Oxford 3-1 at home at the
00:55Memorial Stadium. And of course, Oxford went on to get promoted from League One to the
01:00Championship. So in hindsight, and looking back, that was a really good result for them.
01:06Chris Martin scoring the opening goal in that game. And yes, Oxford pulled one back when
01:10they were 2-1 up, but then they managed to make it 3-1 with just over 10 minutes to go,
01:16which was, as I say, a good result at the time. But the problem with Bristol Rovers
01:19is they've been so inconsistent this year. And so it's hard to go through all the results
01:24from the year and you think, well, that was good, but then it was followed up by something
01:27quite bad. And at times they've had quite a lot bad and then they've plucked out something
01:31good, which then turns it on its head a little bit. And that's sort of what we've managed
01:37to go through. I mean, as I say, when you look through a lot of their results, they've
01:41had some really poor results in general, to be honest. But I think a couple that stood
01:48out were a 3-2 win away at Stevenage because they actually had a sending off in that game,
01:57albeit at the 95th minute, Camille Conter was sent off for Bristol Rovers. But to win
02:023-2 away from home is always a great performance. And the fact is they were actually getting
02:06beaten 2-1 at halftime as well. So that was pretty good. And then you go to another away
02:12win, 3-1 away at Cheltenham in April. And it was 1-1 at halftime and they actually went
02:203-1, sorry, well, 3-0 ahead before a consolation goal from Cheltenham as well. So that was
02:28quite good. And then it starts to get quite hard to pick games out, to be honest, because
02:32you look at what happened to them in the rest of the season and then going into this
02:37new season as well. And to be honest, their form just really goes off a cliff. I mean,
02:42in one month, I believe it was September, they lost all four games. So that was really
02:47quite poor. The one game I have picked out is the 1-0 win recently away at Mansfield
02:50because that sort of brought to an end a bit of a barren run. But even then, after that,
02:55they've gone back to pretty poor form again. So it's hard to pick out, but 2025 just has
02:59to be better.
