00:00This is the latest on the low-pressure area in Mindanao and the possible eruption of La Niña.

00:06We will talk live this afternoon with the weather specialist, Ana Cloren Horda. Good morning.

00:12Yes, good morning to all of us.

00:15Ma'am, will the LPA rain in Mindanao continue?

00:21And when do we expect it to be released to the country?

00:26Yes, you are right. Today, we are monitoring the LPA.

00:30And as of 3 a.m. today, it is located 45 kilometers east-northeast of the city of Zamboanga del Norte.

00:38And it is embedded in the Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITGZ

00:43which is affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

00:46So this LPA and ITGZ, basically, they will be the ones to control the spread of rain,

00:52especially in the Medinagat Islands, the whole of Visayas,

00:57Mimaropa, Bicol Region, Quezon, Laguna and Rizal.

01:01In terms of La Niña, what is the reason why it is possible for it to erupt?

01:06And when do we expect it to be released?

01:09Yes, in terms of La Niña, currently, the status of ENSO is that we are in a neutral condition.

01:16And we can see that we will have a developing La Niña by September, October, November.

01:23But the effect of this is possible in the latter part of the year.

01:28So we are having a slight delay in terms of its effect on us.

01:34It is not temporary, but it is still possible for us to experience La Niña this Bermond's

01:40and then the effect of this is possible end of the year until early next year.

01:44But yesterday, there were a lot of floods in the orange sky, with rainbows.
