00:00Patrick Beverley has left the Orlando bubble for a personal emergency.
00:06Beverley is the second Clipper in the last week to leave the bubble for an excused emergency,
00:12the other being Montrez Harold.
00:14And there were no indications, you know, today because the Clippers had a practice,
00:20we had media availability with the team, and there were no indications that there was going to be an issue.
00:24Now this really puts the Clippers in a tricky situation because Beverley's re-entry can be either
00:30four to ten days if he continues to get tested, so he's going to miss the two scrimmages,
00:34or if he doesn't get tested, there is a chance he might take 14 days to return,
00:39and then he will miss opening night.
00:41Now as it stands, the Clippers are very shorthanded.
00:43They don't have Patrick Beverley, they don't have Montrez Harold,
00:46and they don't have DeVita Zubac, and they don't have Landry Shammott.
00:49They just got Marcus Morris today, so now they're down four key players,
00:55and we're likely going to see Reggie Jackson start in Patrick Beverley's place,
00:58but it's a very unfortunate situation for both Patrick Beverley and the Clippers
01:02because the Clippers didn't get a healthy training camp at the start of the season.
01:06They didn't have Paul George, Kawhi was a little rusty, and they were expecting this time in the bubble
01:11to be the moment where everybody got to come together, and it was a fully healthy training camp.
01:15Now instead, Landry Shammott contracts COVID, Montrez Harold has to leave for an emergency,
01:20and both DeVita Zubac and Marcus Morris arrive late for reasons we never got known to us,
01:26and now on top of that, Pat is gone.
01:28So hopefully this doesn't put the Clippers in too big of a hole for when the season actually starts.
01:33We hope everything's okay with Patrick Beverley and his family.
