00:00 Hello, happy Friday. I'm Jordan Warren joined by Agron Latifi and it actually is
00:04 not a happy Friday is it, Gronny? We saw the Hawks go down against Melbourne
00:07 United last night. Talk me through that one. That was tough to watch, Jordan. That was very tough to
00:11 watch. You know, for a moment there, Hawks fans were celebrating, thinking Sunday
00:16 game away from a grand final berth, a win away from a grand final berth.
00:20 Unfortunately it wasn't to be but all's not lost. We've got one more chance.
00:24 It's do or die again. We've shown previously when our backs are against the wall
00:29 that the Hawks come out firing. So best of luck to Justin Tatum and the Hawks on
00:34 Sunday. Only a win will do and send the game to game three on Wednesday in Melbourne.
00:39 Where do you think that the game went wrong for the Hawks?
00:42 Obviously going into that last quarter had that, what was it, 16 point lead.
00:46 That's an incredible lead to blow. What do you think, watching the game,
00:49 what do you think went wrong for the Hawks? A lot. A lot went wrong. I mean, Tatum was right in saying,
00:56 JT was right in saying that the referee went against them. But that wasn't the
01:02 reason they lost. Even against the Breakers, we blew a lead.
01:06 You know, they came back to haunt. We found a way to win there but
01:10 we couldn't against Melbourne, they're the top team, they finished first for a reason.
01:15 Hopefully, you know, the boys' confidence isn't shot and they come back and
01:21 I'm sure they'll give it their best and they've had a great season.
01:25 It's been a remarkable season. We're 2-7, you know, we've sacked our coach.
01:30 Justin Tain come in, he's done a remarkable job. The team's done a remarkable job.
01:35 He's hoping they can just, you know, find a way to win and you never know.
01:40 Yeah, no, all is not lost, Ronnie. There's still plenty of hope so get out and support the Hawks on Sunday.
01:46 There's plenty of other sport happening this weekend too. Of course, we've got some football.
01:49 We've got the Illawarra Premier League. We'll be at the Coniston versus Wollongong United game on Saturday.
01:54 That's set to be a massive clash. I'll be covering the Wolves on Sunday.
01:57 They're away. Of course, they had a massive 4-0 victory midweek against rivals Sutherland.
02:01 And, Ronnie, where are you at? I'll be at the cricket. The cricket, there's Illawarra and South Coast crickets on.
02:06 It's the final week before the finals start.
02:11 Big game is the grand final replay between Wollongong and Northern Districts.
02:16 Northern Districts, the Butchers have been the form team of the competition.
02:19 Even though they're coming fourth, they haven't lost in about seven games.
02:23 But it's Kiro who's going to probably finish the season on top.
02:28 On South Coast cricket, Lake Illawarra, the kings of South Coast cricket, they're right up there again.
02:36 If they beat Bury on the final on Saturday, they'll finish top again.
02:41 Yeah, it should be an exciting weekend.
02:44 If you're remiss of me to not mention the Stingrays, the Julie Porter Cup is also on.
02:48 Head to the illawarramercury.com.au website for all the latest news.
02:51 we'll be covering all the sport on the weekend.
02:53 So head to that website.
