00:00 Morning everyone, it's Steph at the Free Press and it's Monday December 4th. Hope you've had a
00:05 very pleasant snowy weekend. Just got some stories to bring you today. First of all,
00:09 a couple of quite unpleasant ones. We've got a Doncaster rapist who's been put behind bars.
00:14 He strangled a child. He is also a rapist and he threatened to bury a woman in her garden if she
00:25 reported any of the sickening attacks he laid upon her and her family. So that's not
00:32 pleasant reading but still at least he's been jailed for those offences. Then we have one that
00:38 the police sent out late on Friday which is about an XL bullied dog attacks a puppy, killing it,
00:46 and also attacked a woman who is now in hospital with injuries following that attack which
00:52 of course isn't very nice at all. So you can read the circumstances about that. Then we've got a
00:58 more pleasant piece. Restaurant critic Giles Corran visited the city centre not so long back
01:05 and he's been singing phrases of the place he visited, a deli in town, you'll be familiar with
01:10 it. He said and the restaurant was brilliant and wonderful which is great news. So well done to
01:17 everyone involved in that and hopefully it'll bring some more business your way. So for those
01:22 three stories and for anything else happening in the news today just visit the website www.doncasterfreepress.co.uk
01:29 and I hope you have a lovely Monday.
