00:39 We are a collective called SumusLab.
00:42 It's a project that was born in New York at the Wanted Design Fair.
00:45 We met with several designers from Latin America
00:48 to be able to generate a joint collaboration,
00:51 to be able to develop new pieces that are focused on the ritual of food.
00:55 Ana, tell us why ceramics? Why is it your element?
00:59 When I got into ceramics, what captivated me
01:01 was that, to begin with, it's something you create with your hands.
01:04 You don't have to tell someone else what to do.
01:07 It comes from within you.
01:08 And that fascinates me.
01:10 When I'm doing it, I forget about the rest of the world.
01:13 It's being in contact, rooted with the earth and all the elements.
01:18 And Pierre, tell us what this experience has been like,
01:21 what was the inspiration for these spectacular pieces?
01:24 Basically, the most interesting thing is that they are pieces
01:27 made by the Fabric Studio in Paris.
01:30 I'm in Mexico.
01:32 I work in fashion, so I'm in the fashion industry.
01:36 So, my goal was to work in collaboration to imagine
01:40 how people who don't know the history of the factory
01:43 can understand that they are pieces of fabrics
01:48 made to be used to make bricks.
01:50 Well, this was just a glimpse of the ninth edition of Inédito.
