And finally new research has shown that people across the North East are more likely to drive and park at the airport as they jet off on holiday.

00:09 On the 17th August, police received a report of a collision on Military Road, where a black
00:14 BMW motorcycle had left the road.
00:16 The rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries and police have asked any witnesses
00:21 to come forward.
00:23 New videos have been released as part of the Knives Impact Everyone campaign, which aims
00:27 to prevent knife crime across the North East.
00:30 The videos highlight the impact knife crime has on many people and will be released across
00:34 social media channels and YouTube.
00:37 And finally, new research has shown that people across the North East are more likely to drive
00:41 and park at the airport as they jet off on holiday.
00:44 The survey from Trusted Travel found that 37.7% of holidaymakers from across the North
00:49 East would rather drive to the airport than use commercial travel.
