Learn how to make Tasty and Flavorful 'Kashmiri Kahwa' with our chef Jasleen

Kahwah also called as qehwa, kehwa, or kahwa is a traditional green tea preparation consumed in India the Western Ghats, the Malabar region, and Kashmir, from where it spread to Central Asia. Generally, it is served with sugar or honey and crushed nuts, usually almonds.

Ingredients:
(Serves 2)
- 4 cups Water
- 5-6 Green Cardamom(crushed)
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- Saffron
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- Almonds(crushed)
- 1/2 tsp Green Tea

Method:
1. Take water in a sauce pan/tea pan and add crushed green cardamom, cinnamon stick, saffron to it
2. Close the pan with its lid and let it boil for 10 minutes, so the smell of these ingredients are released
3. Now, add sugar to the pan, followed with some crushed almonds
4. Take it out in a tea pot and don't strain it
5. Take its strainer and in that add green tea leaves
6. Now, keep it for 5 minutes, and then, serve it
