Learn how to make famous 'Kashmiri Pink Tea/Noon Chai - नून चाय' with our chef Jasleen.

Noon chai, also called sheer chai, gulabi chai, Kashmiri tea or pink tea, is a traditional tea beverage, originating from the Indian subcontinent, most probably from the Kashmir Valley, made with gunpowder tea, milk, and baking soda.

Ingredients:
(Serves 4)
- 1 cup Water
- 1 tbsp Pink Tea Leaves
- Baking Soda
- Salt
- 1 cup of water
- 3 cups Water
- 1 cup Milk
- Pistachio(chopped)
- Almonds(chopped)

Method:
1. Take 1 cup water in a saucepan, and add pink tea leaves, baking soda
2. Boil it till the water reduces to 4-5 spoons, and keep stirring it in middle
3. After some time the color of the tea changes to pink; now add 1 more cup of water to the saucepan along with salt
4. Keep stirring as the color of the tea becomes more deep, and let the water reduce again
5. As the water has reduced again, add 3 more cups of water and let it boil again
6. Once boiled, add milk to the saucepan and give it another boil
7. Take it out in a cup; add chopped pistachio, chopped almonds and serve it
