In this episode we head to Melbourne, VIC, Australia, to visit Margaret Gurney. Margaret often paints in remote parts of the Australian outback. Her work is a strong reflection of our Australian iconography and imagery. Her exhibition ‘Inland’ attracted much interest. It is these stunning landscapes of Australia that Margaret exhibited in Italy 2009.
A love of drawing and painting has been a natural part of Margaret’s life from her earliest days. Her contemporary style continues to develop, emphasizing strong shapes, form and glowing, intuitive color. She is versatile, working in watercolors, oils, mixed media and drawing.
