Dawat-e-Islami is a global peaceful Islamic, non-political movement working to convey the message of Quran and Sunnah.
Allama Arshad al-Qadri, Maulana Shah Ahmed Noorani, Allama Syed Ahmad Saeed Kazmi and other elders raised their need for an Ahl-e-Sunnat propaganda movement at a meeting of the Maulana Shah Ahmed Noorani's residence in Karachi in 1981. There were also Mufti dignitaries who were assigned to this task. He suggested the name of his disciple Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Qadri, who was already doing so. Now they are continuing this mission. Dawat-e-Islami was founded in Karachi in 1981 by Muhammad Ilyas Attar Qadiri Razavi Ziyaee دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـه. Under his guidance, Dawat-e-Islami soon emerged as a global, peaceful and non-political movement of the Quran and Sunnah and is currently serving Islam in more than 105 different departments.
The Islamic message of Dawat-e-Islami has now reached over to 200 locations which includes all 194 independent countries and some of dependent territories of the world. Dawat-e-Islami has also been recognized and registered as a non-violent and peaceful Islamic movement in many countries including America, Canada, United Kingdom, South Africa and Hind.
