00:00first win of the year you've been patient what's the feeling now yeah it's a big relief uh the team

00:07always believes in me and uh yeah it's not been a great start to the season but then with injury

00:12i missed a lot of racing and uh yeah i was arriving here without a win so yeah the first one for the

00:17year is a big relief what have you tried to do with general pro right ahead before the finish

00:24yeah well with these wet roads and they're quite slippery so knowing the cobbles starting around

00:29the 2k mark was super important to be in front but in the end we also needed to use some guys early

00:34to chase close the breakaway they did a super ride so yeah in the end uh still had two teammates uh

01:29us how are you uh i had better days i'd say like this uh it's never nice to to crash in a downhill like

01:36this with the 70ks an hour so i feel the body right now for sure was it your choice to then not contest

01:43the stage victory if i could i would love to but uh you know when i when you hit the deck like i did

01:50today it's not that easy and yeah i feel the pain from from the crash so yeah if i could i would love

02:08uh yeah first of all it was a pretty crazy stage i must say because you know uh we are still in the

02:21south of italy and the roads here are when it's wet really slippery and today in some parts it was like

02:29ice skating so yeah a big crash happened there and it was probably 60 riders on the ground you know and

02:42they neutralized the the the race and we were talking also with other riders with other guys

02:49it would be better maybe to neutralize the whole stage because if it would rain here in the city napoli

02:54it would be crazy dangerous again but yeah then they decided that they just give the same time

03:03they will neutralize the time and no points for the chiclamino jersey so yeah that was a good thing to

03:11do and then yeah mats he was in the in that crash and he was a bit hurt so he took it easy today and he

03:20didn't wanted to take any risk anymore and yeah me also i just went easy and i saved it for for tomorrow

03:29you know and also i don't want to crash in this stage that it's not for me and i just want to look

03:36forward to the next stages you say tomorrow will you defend maria rosa the maria bianca yeah it's not

03:44gonna be an easy stage tomorrow you know for the climbers but for sure i will give it my best i know i'm
