The Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) announced a new resumption date for IPL 2025, which was suspended for a week due to India and Pakistan's geopolitical tensions. However, this revised schedule ensured that several matches would get shifted to various venues, with the most important being the availability of overseas players for the remainder of the IPL 2025. The venues for remaining venues are as follows: M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Arun Jaitley Stadium, Ekana Cricket Stadium, Wankhede Stadium, and Narendra Modi Stadium. So far, venues for the playoffs have not been announced by the BCCI. Apart from a few players from South Africa, England, and Australia, most of the overseas cricketers will be available to play IPL 2025 when it restarts on May 17.
