00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcus Jr. is pleased with the initial results of the 2025 midterm elections.
00:06The chief executive believes the senatorial candidates currently leading in the race
00:10assess dignity, strong personal convictions, and a sincere desire to serve the nation.
00:16Despite their affiliations with various political parties,
00:20President Marcus Jr. hopes the newly elected officials will work together
00:23to address the real needs of the people, rather than prioritize personal interests.
00:29The palace also emphasized that the administration is open to a legitimate opposition
00:33that champions public welfare.
00:36However, it will not tolerate obstructionists or critics who refuse to recognize the government's efforts
00:42and act purely out of self-interest.
00:44The palace also dismissed allegations from the opposition,
00:48claiming the senatorial race results are part of a broader campaign against them.
