00:00I just wanted to ask you about President Trump and his decision to make Saudi Arabia the first stop of his first scheduled foreign trip since he returned to the White House in January.
00:09What does that decision say, do you think, about the strength of the U.S.-Saudi relationship?
00:15Well, it certainly is a big statement, isn't it, Tom?
00:18But we have to remember that Saudi Arabia as a whole, it's been reported, has over $770 billion invested into the United States.
00:28So it makes sense that President Trump, in his second term, would reach back to his friend and say, can we do more together?
00:37And so apparently this deal was struck, and I think that's an indication of the belief systems aligned for co-investment and to build a bridge using trade between the Middle East and the United States.
00:51It also is a very complimentary move on behalf of the presidential administration to bring so many secretaries and CEOs, as it is reported, to this very important forum and opportunity next week.
01:06I think it's a compliment to the Saudi people, and it further enhances the relationship between the United States and Saudi Arabia.
01:13I think it's a good idea.
