00:00So, clearly, it's important that things happen sooner rather than later.
00:05I mean, obviously, the first priority is to secure the future of the club.
00:08I think there's a number of players that most fans would be bitterly disappointed to see in leave,
00:13but players inevitably will come and go. That's part and part of football.
00:17If new owners do come in, there's no guarantee that Joe Gray or Manny Disarue or Nathan Sharon are certain to stay,
00:24although you would think it would certainly increase the possibility of Pools keeping them.
00:30I don't know, but I would imagine at this stage, there's not really anything the club can do in terms of contract negotiations.
00:35I think that players did meet with the management and staff in the couple of days after the end of the season.
00:43I imagine that that was just a conversation in terms of what perhaps they would like to do.
00:49But obviously, whether they're going to be able to do that or not still remains to be seen.
00:53But whoever does come in, if someone does come in, then they're going to have to work pretty quickly.
00:59And the more time they have to get their feet under the table and implement their own ideas and implement their own plan,
01:05then obviously the better for the club.
