01:59I'm Joey Stiles and on behalf of everyone here in ECW, thank you for supporting us last Sunday night.
02:06It was ECW's Living Dangerously live on pay-per-view and in front of a sold-out turn-away crowd on the water at the Convention Hall in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
02:16And we hope you will support us again on Sunday night, May 16th, live on pay-per-view for the 1999 version of ECW's Hardcore Heavy.
02:27Let's take a look back at Living Dangerously.
02:30So much news coming out of that event.
02:32For starters, the world television champion Rob Van Dam now finds his championship reign embroiled in controversy following his defense against Jerry Lynn.
02:45More on that in this program.
02:46Plus, we do have an undisputed ECW World Heavyweight Champion as Taz, the recognized World Heavyweight Champion, took on the unrecognized FGW Champion, Sabu.
02:59We will show you how that match concluded in this hour.
03:03Also, we will show you what happened before we went on the air with Living Dangerously, the cat flight of the century.
03:10Well, sort of.
03:11And as you saw at the top of the program, Sid continues to make an impact here in ECW.
03:17Recently at the ECW Arena, the 6'9", 300-pound monster almost blew the roof off of the building.
03:24Referee John Peewee Moore trying to back off Skulllock, crushing Rod Price to make that determination.
03:34But they are relentless.
03:36Nova, Chetty's tag team partner, trying to cover him up.
03:41Maddox are at ringside trying to get a look at Chetty.

03:47Because Jeff Jones about to unleash his fury into ECW.

04:13I'm gonna look at these young men, they're gonna dance, they're gonna dance.

07:35Living Dangerously 1999 saw Rob Van Dam defend the world TV title against Batman,
07:41Sherry Lin, and make no mistake about it,
07:45Living Dangerously 1999 was without a question,
07:50Jerry Lin Knight,
07:52as he took RVD to the extreme,
07:56punishing the whole effing show throughout their contests.
08:03But Rob Van Dam came back with a vengeance,
08:07showing why he has been unbeatable since winning the title last April
08:13in Buffalo, New York.
08:17But Jerry Lin would not be stopped,
08:22and he actually had Rob Van Dam beat when the 20-minute time limit expired.
08:33Referee John Finnegan started walking towards Jerry Lin with the title belt in hand.
08:40Perhaps not realizing the decision Finnegan was about to render,
08:45Lin asked Van Dam for five more minutes.
08:48Finnegan explained to Van Dam he was about to lose the belt,
08:51and RVD accepted Lin's challenge for an overtime session.
08:56Once again, Lin took Van Dam to the extreme,
08:59but after a Van Daminator followed up by a five-star broad splash,
09:06Rob Van Dam scored the victory in overtime.
09:10Rob Van Dam retained the ECW World Television Championship,
09:16but not before gaining a whole new level of respect for Jerry Lin.
09:22Senior official John Finnegan showing more guts than any other referee in wrestling history.
09:30He could have just said, it's a draw.
09:32Time limit expired, but no, he was going to award the match to Jerry Lin,
09:36and an interesting precedent would have been set.
09:38Does that make Jerry Lin the World Television Champion?
09:41Regardless, Rob Van Dam now has his stiffest challenge to date.
09:45Recently, the ECW Arena saw a matchup with international ramifications.

20:55The international rivalry between Mexico's Super Crazy and Yoshihiro Tajiri of Japan has electrified ECW
21:18since their first matchup live on pay-per-view January 10th at Guilty as charged.
21:25Since that night each man has scored several victories over the other.
21:31An equal number of victories to each man.
21:34But only one man could emerge as the winner of the feud.
21:39A feud with no loser but certainly one man with the bragging rights to say that he won the rivalry on this night at ECW living dangerously.
21:52The winner of the feud turned out to be Mexico's Super Crazy who upset Yoshihiro Tajiri.
22:01Got the one, two, three and got the bragging rights to say that Super Crazy won the feud.

36:34Both sides tried psychological warfare by taunting the others.
36:49Calgary's own Lance Storm started off against the innovator of violence, Tommy Dreamer.
36:58As the franchise Shane Douglas was dying to get his hands on Justin Credible, both Lance and Justin tried to show Shane Douglas who the new franchise would be.
37:15But there is only one true franchise.
37:21Lance Storm and Justin Credible proceeded to gang up on the innovator of violence, Tommy Dreamer.
37:35Can't fight, can't fight!
37:45Lance Storm shoved Francine out of the ring.
37:50But the head cheerleader returned from the locker room with a ladder.
37:55A ladder that would be used as a weapon against Storm and Credible.
38:01But Justin got a hold of the Singapore Cade, only to be kicked in the face by Francine.
38:13Hit by the franchise with a fisherman's buster as Shane rolled through for the pinfall.
38:21Victory belonged to Douglas, Dreamer, and Francine.
38:26Cyrus the Virus, formerly Don the Jackal Callous, provided the distraction as Justin caned Douglas, and then caned Tommy Dreamer.
38:43But when they all ganged up on Francine, Cyrus seemingly could take no more.
38:49But then he slammed into Francine with a headbutt.
38:55Lance Storm, Justin Credible, and company escaped someone's revenge.
39:01Again.
39:02The franchise shame does this.
39:04The innovator of violence, Tommy Dreamer, and Francine are far from done with Justin Credible, Lance Storm, Lance's fueless, he's not that bitch, B-Y-T-C-H, Jason,
39:16and that other young lady, what is her name, Justin?
39:20She's been on TV for three months since kicking the crap out of Chastity.
39:23Come on, get with it.
39:24I don't care if she's your sister, your girlfriend, just give her a name.
39:28On a totally separate subject, the new ECW magazine is on stands April 1st.
39:34After five and a half years, we have arrived, and in my humble opinion, this blows away every other wrestling magazine on the stands.
39:44And if you don't believe me, just take a look at what you're seeing now.
39:48Sabu is on its way to the ring.
40:06Bill Alfonso and the unrecognized FTW world champion Sabu in the ring.
40:28You can see that Sabu's jaw is taped up.
40:34He's got a fractured jaw.
40:39He's had two minor surgeries on it.
40:43His jaw was fractured at the hands of Taz in Concord, North Carolina.
40:51I believe we have the footage.
41:00Watch the clothesline.
41:04There it is, that's how Taz fractured the jaw of Sabu.
41:09As a matter of fact, that clothesline caused Taz to suffer some torn tendons in his bicep.
41:16You can imagine what the jaw of Sabu is like.
41:19It's made of granite.
41:21But he just taped it up.
41:25This match is your main event.
41:27And it is a unification match for the FTW and ECW World Heavyweight Championships.
41:34It's a man's a man's a man's a man's a man.
41:35It's a man's a man's a man's a man's a man's a man's a man's a man's a man's a man's a man's a man.
42:37And so the stage was set, the suicidal, homicidal, genocidal FTW champion Sabu against the ECW world heavyweight champion, the human suplex machine Tag.
43:00Both belts were on the line in this title unification battle.
43:07Caz reminded Sabu that he was the one that cracked Sabu's jaw.
43:14This was a major point of concern for Sabu's manager, former referee, and former Caz advisor, Bill Alfonso.
43:26He knew just how merciless Caz could be.
43:31Caz went right to work on Sabu's jaw and attempted a crossface.
43:37But Sabu blocked Caz's crossface and applied a judo throw of his own.
43:44But the mat wrestling world heavyweight champion wrapped his leg around Sabu's face and then proceeded with the crossfaces.
43:54With Sabu in excruciating pain, Caz delivered a boot right to the face.
44:02This enraged Sabu, who came back at Caz with everything that he had.
44:08The fight spilled into the crowd as Sabu and Caz fought all over the Asbury Park Convention Hall.
44:23This was a brutal war between two long-time enemies.
44:37Both men trying to outdo the other.
44:40Both men trying to take the other out.
44:45Caz belly-to-belly suplex Sabu over the top, rolled through a table.
44:49And then, once again, proceeded with a series of crossfaces.
44:56Bill Alfonso tried to throw in the towel, but Sabu would not let him.
45:03Sabu would not let his manager give up the match.
45:07Both men wanted to emerge as the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
45:14There is no description that could accurately describe the courage that Sabu displayed.
45:21As once again, he took the fight to Caz with blood pouring out of his mouth.
45:29His jaw broken.
45:31Several feet had now been cracked.
45:34Sabu still took the fight to Caz like no one, no one ever had before.
45:42But Caz grabbed Sabu and suplexed him right on his face.
45:48Sabu was in deep trouble, but yet still came back with a triple jump moonsault.
45:54Caz countered with a trademark Cazplex of his own.
45:58But once again, Sabu mounted offense and took to the air.
46:02Caz knew he was going to lose the match to Sabu.
46:05So he Cazplexed him off the second rope and then applied a Cazmission Cazplex through a table.
46:13Bill Alfonso could take no more.
46:16He threw in the towel, but Sabu crawled across the ring before referee Jim Molotov saw the towel and tried to throw it out of the ring.
46:23But that gave Caz the opportunity to apply the Kata Hajime.
46:28Sabu never saw it coming.
46:30Caz choked him out and became the undisputed ECW Heavyweight Champion of the World.
46:37On October 1st, 1993, both men debuted at the ECW Arena.
46:43Against each other, the war had just begun.
