00:00And just, Doctor, you mentioned this, that this region has always sort of suffered with
00:08conflicts that do happen. But how does this compare to previous flashpoints between Pakistan
00:16and India? And are we seeing a repeat of the past? Or is this different in any way?
00:24That's a great question. I think it is similar to what had happened before. This is a bit more
00:28serious in a sense that previously there were wars, of course, in a war-like situation,
00:34whether in 1947, 65, 1971, those were major escalations. But at that time, both the
00:42countries were not nuclear weapon states. So we knew that they will fight a war for a week,
00:47two weeks maximum, international organizations will jump in, big states will jump in to ensure
00:53peace. But in this case, this has started happening for the last 15, 20 years, I should say,
00:58almost 25 years. That small incursion happens. Militants from Pakistan's side or Afghanistan,
01:05they go in, because Pakistan had been, unfortunately, supporting some of these militant groups which
01:11were conducting attacks in India.
