00:00Your commentary team this evening, Michael Stewart and Alistair Laman.
00:04Yeah, thanks very much, Jonathan.
00:06It's really straightforward in the championship,
00:09least of all when it comes to playoff time.
00:11So what drama lies in store for us this evening?
00:15Air United with one foot in the semifinals
00:17to avenge the humbling by Thistle at this stage two years ago.
00:22But can the Jags turn this round?
00:25Stranger things have certainly happened.
00:30Scott Brown was understandably pleased by the way Tuesday went,
00:36so his only change is an enforced one.
00:38Nick McAllister forced off early with a head knock at Firhill.
00:42Has to sit this one out.
00:43So Dylan Wattow, who came on for him in midweek,
00:46starts in his place tonight.
00:51Likewise, Dan O'Reilly also involved in that clash of heads.
00:54He's missing for Thistle
00:55and is replaced by 17-year-old Jamie Lowe,
00:58who makes his senior debut in this crucial match.
01:01Ben Stanway also comes in,
01:03a seasoned veteran by comparison,
01:06replacing Stevie Lawless, who drops to the bench.
01:08APPLAUSE
01:09Jamie Murphy's moment of inspiration separates the sides.
01:24Coming into this one, he'll look to produce some more magic on home turf tonight.
01:29Kyle Turner's last goal beat Air United in December.
01:35A veteran of the playoffs, he helped Wraith put Thistle out last season.
01:44And Nick Walsh having successfully navigated the old firm game last weekend,
01:49has given the big one this Friday night.
01:52quick change of ends there.
02:10Pre-match, I reckon that was probably because Thistle won the toss,
02:14it means that Josh Clarke will have the sun in his eyes in this first period.
02:22Air United have only lost to Livingston here in the league this season.
02:26Maintain that record, and they'll be playing Livy again here on Tuesday night.
02:31That's a pretty impressive home record, Michael.
02:34Could that be telling this evening, do you think?
02:36Well, you think that it's going to, of course, play a part in terms of the confidence of the side.
02:44When you've got the home comforts and you know that the record is strong.
02:48I was just going to say, there was actually a double change of ends.
02:51It was mind games getting played.
02:53Patrick Thistle had originally walked on and taken up this side of the part
02:57where, obviously, Air United were wanting to be.
03:00They quickly moved him off.
03:02Then they won the toss and moved it back in.
03:04Well, that was a cheap corner given away in the opening minute by Aidan Fitzpatrick,
03:09and you'll be hoping that does not cause his side any damage in these opening exchanges.
03:16As a cross comes, Paddy Redding to take this corner.
03:23Plenty of movement inside the penalty area.
03:25It's sent back, pause, and it's a cross goal!
03:28An early scare.
03:30And then McMahon sends it well over the top.
03:34But Patrick Thistle almost conceding in the very early stages here.
03:41Well, it's a good ball, and it's Dempsey that gets from the back and gets a free head up.
03:46Agbair just not able to get on the end of it.
03:50And likewise, I think Jamie Murphy was close, but just not close enough.
03:54You can see there getting the head right back.
03:56Agbair's just caught on his heels a little bit.
03:59In the end, Robbie Crawford's able to clear it in front of Jamie Murphy.
04:03Both sides and both squads being stretched to the full in these final games of the season.
04:22Thistle not only with a debutant in their starting line-up, but several teenagers on the bench as well.
04:30And like Tuesday, very few with top-level experience.
04:40That was young Jamie Lowe challenging for that, and of course he'll come and take this throw in.
04:49And I'm informed he was sitting his higher English earlier this week, and here he is making his Patrick Thistle debut.
04:56Quite a moment for the teenager, and all the better if they can pull off the victory they require.
05:07Jamesy watching it back to Murphy, tries the big switch out to Watcheret, who's well-advanced.
05:26Lowe trying to get back with him, and Watcheret couldn't wrap his foot round it to cut it back sufficiently.
05:30As Mitchell has stopped from taking the kick out as he wanted to, Marco Roos tangling with him, he's come off worse.
05:42Well, it's been a bright start from Air United.
05:45Lovely bit of play from Jamie Murphy to pick out Dylan Watthroop, but I've got to be honest.
05:49Once it went in, in the challenger, I didn't really see it, but he's been very aggressive in the opening stages here.
05:58I don't know what that means.
06:01You can't do that.
06:03Marco Roos has just literally jumped into the goalkeeper.
06:08David Mitchell's let him know about it.
06:12Roos now getting a talk into it from Nick Walsh.
06:16Well, as much as I do like to see referees showing a little bit of restraint there, and I applaud him for that,
06:26I've got to say, Marco Roos is very fortunate to be getting away with it.
06:33Yeah, but unlike Tuesday night, we probably don't want to see yellow cards coming out for very little.
06:41And, as you were bemoaning the other night, the stop-start nature of that game didn't help it, so I hope this one's a bit more free-flowing.
06:53Terrific crowd inside this wonderful old ground.
06:58Well, the party-thistle fans are still streaming in down in the corner here.
07:01Here's Walsh, trying to test slow early on, and he has done, it's a wonderful pick-out, should have been the opening goal.
07:12Marco Roos with another chance, little tug there by Crawford, gets away with it, and manages to clear his lines,
07:18but Marco Roos should surely have opened the scoring there for Air United.
07:23I should have been testing the goalkeeper at least.
07:25Here comes Thistle.
07:29It is the open contest we were hoping for, it's Fitzpatrick looking to take on Agbier.
07:36And he finds Stanwy, Turner, Thistle corner now, end-to-end stuff.
07:42Yeah, it's already far better than it was on Tuesday.
07:47The park certainly helps, it was like playing in a car park on Tuesday, it was far too hard.
07:52But certainly, yeah, United have started brightly.
07:57Part of Thistle almost responding there, but Marco Roos, he really has got to score.
08:01Great play again down this right from young Dylan Wattrick.
08:06He already looks like he's got the beating of Roe, who's about to take this corner kick.
08:12I'd like to believe he's got good delivery.
08:13No, it's a good delivery!
08:15It's a very good delivery!
08:17And the opening goal for that man, Brian Graham!
08:19What a start for Patek Thistle!
08:23And we are back on level terms in the tie.
08:27Six minutes in, and the jack strike first.
08:33Well, James McFadden knows what he's talking about when it comes to delivery, doesn't he?
08:38He was the man that was talking about young Jimmy Lowe.
08:41And his delivery being very good.
08:45And boys, he's just come up with a big one here.
08:47Although you've got to say around the back post, is it McKenzie, I think?
08:53You can see the frustration, Brian Graham gets the better of him.
08:57And it becomes an easy header in the end.
09:00Knocks it past Clark.
09:01No chance.
09:02Game on.
09:05Big time.
09:06Air started brightly.
09:09Park Thistle have got their noses in front.
09:11And the tie's now level.
09:14They knew it was going to be good.
09:17You know, just touching on young Jimmy Lowe.
09:19And I think, again, James had mentioned it in terms of, you know, you're putting a youngster in.
09:23And you never really know what's going to happen.
09:26Certainly at this moment, he's going to be feeling good about himself.
09:29His confidence is going to be high, and he needed it because he's had a couple of moments where Dylan Walsh has got the better of him.
09:37All of a sudden, he's got an assist.
09:41Yeah, the restart's been delayed by some people who think there's not enough entertainment here at the early stages
09:48and think they have to let off a few smoke bombs to add to the spectacle.
09:53Not sure I'm with them on that, but nonetheless, their side.
10:00Has struck in the opening minutes just moments after Marco Reus.
10:10Perhaps he's struck first for Air United.
10:12He's got to.
10:13As I said, he just chokes the shot.
10:16I mean, I'm not even sure had...
10:17I think it was Beth that was in front of the goalkeeper.
10:21Had he not been there, it would have been a simple stop for David Mitchell.
10:27He just never got the right contact on it.
10:29Sat perfectly.
10:30The cutback waited to perfection for him to step onto it and slam it at the back of the net, but they miss that opportunity.
10:40And Brian Graham on 99 now.
10:42Yes, he is.
10:4420 for the season.
10:47But 99 all told for Partick Thistle and not many would back against him, making it 100 over the course of the next 80-odd minutes.
10:59Could be more than that, of course.
11:02Extra time and penalties could be required.
11:04Yeah, United have just got to keep their wits about them.
11:09They'd started brightly.
11:11Hugely frustrating.
11:13Terrible goal to lose, but they can't allow that to rock them.
11:17Meg Watt playing at right centre-back tonight.
11:24Launches that one long.
11:28Macbeth.
11:30Over Graham.
11:32Stanway will chase it.
11:35It's a penalize for pulling there.
11:43Mark McKenzie, normally such a dependable performer.
11:47You can see the frustration from him at the back post.
11:51Brian Graham getting the better of him.
11:54And I'll be honest,
11:56had Brian Graham missed the target,
11:59he'd have been running the risk of giving away a penalty kick
12:02when he was pulling the jersey.
12:05And what could have come from that as well, of course?
12:14Nudge.
12:15What does pants it by Agbair?
12:17He took a sore one late on in the first leg.
12:23Fitzpatrick from Agbair down the Achilles,
12:26but clearly recovered in time to take his place in the starting lineup.
12:30Not that this will have any options.
12:33I'm sure there's a few out there who have patched themselves together
12:36for this one on either side, to be fair.
12:38playing through the pain barrier for the greater good.
12:46Trying to help their sides get up into the big time once more.
12:54Scott Brown
12:55sure will not be phased by the loss of that early goal.
12:59As you say, Michael, they had started brightly,
13:01and they'll have a game plan
13:03for various different scenarios.
13:05and they'll have a game plan for the next one.
13:06Michael, let's see.
13:07Michael, let's see.
13:08Michael, let's see.
13:10Michael, let's see.
13:10Agua, McCann gets his head to it, up goes Bannigan.
13:29I think I swore one as he nodded that on McLennan though,
13:33rampaging forward, eventually stopped in his tracks,
13:36and Stanwy gets it clear.
13:39I'm not convinced he was looking for Turner,
13:43but it looked like a good ball in the end.
13:46Bannigan was perhaps the player he was picking out,
13:49Doffer's done really well to win it.
13:51Back to Turner, low ball in, easily cleared though.
13:55As you say, it's already a far better watch
14:00than the one on Tuesday night at Ferrell.
14:04Yeah, absolutely.
14:06I'm not sure what Turner's done here, but certainly looks in a fair bit of pain.
14:13Yeah, I mean, I don't want to be too critical of Ferrell, but the surface certainly is not conducive to playing the best football.
14:25It's not giving the players an out as well because I think there was an element of the quality just wasn't there, but it just was so hard.
14:33The ball was bouncing about, so lively, difficult to get under control and play quickly.
14:38Whereas tonight, here at Somerset, you've seen the opening stages already, the players look far more comfortable on the ball.
14:48Well, that looks altogether innocuous as Turner went down, having whipped a cross in.
14:55Part of Thistle desperately hope that he's able to shrug that off.
15:04I just wonder whether it's perhaps something that he's carrying at the moment.
15:19I think the fans are the noisier of the two sets of supporters right now.
15:25The air france somewhat shocked into a bit of silence.
15:31A lift fodder, a lift down, a lift down, a lift down...
15:48Kanala, kanala...
15:52Kanala,...
15:54Kanala...
15:57Kanala...
15:59Scott Brown pointed out Livingstone won twice here in the league, otherwise they were unbeaten in the league.
16:20Mips came here in the Scottish Cup and won, narrowly.
16:24It's Thistle in front and they've got another corner from the exact spot in which the first goal was produced.
16:34Well certainly since the goal, it's been Tarek Thistle who have been in the ascendancy,
16:42here have not really been able to counterpunch Tarek Thistle since that goal from the corner kick.
16:53Let's see if he can replicate his delivery, it's another good one, the keeper gets something on it.
16:58The Sun cannot be helping him one bit there.
17:02That was a very good delivery.
17:07You better believe the Sun is not helping him. Right in his eyes, the ball is low and whipped in, plenty of bodies around him.
17:16Josh Clarke, so impressive at Fairhill on Tuesday, a couple of really good saves, but beaten early on this one.
17:34It's McKenzie getting it out to Murphy to attack Turner and swing it in dangerously.
17:45That was well won by McBeth.
17:47Good player from Murphy isn't it? He just loves that situation when he can dink back on his right foot.
17:54Good delivery, but Park Thistle defending it well.
17:59That's a near United throw-in, came off Stanley last.
18:03I mean, the thing for defenders is they kind of know what Jamie Murphy's probably going to do, what he wants to do,
18:12but it's one thing knowing that, it's another thing stopping it.
18:15Particularly with Kyle Turner not being perhaps altogether natural in that position.
18:21I'm sure Jamie Murphy will have other opportunities. Here he is, challenged by Fitzpatrick Murphy.
18:33I've seen plenty of the ball in these open stages, he was trying to shift it onto the right foot there, but Brian Graham stepped in.
19:01Not brilliantly there. Captain Brian Graham was surrounded by airplayers, manages to keep possession.
19:18Head knock there. Nick Walsh stopping the game.
19:24McKenzie's okay though.
19:29Brian Graham generally wants to play as much of the games as possible, but I'm sure the ideal scenario would have been to get him off at some stage on Tuesday, but he was forced for one reason or another to play the full 90-plus.
19:47But rarely sits out the starting line-up as Walsh is unable to control that free kick.
19:57It was fired out to him.
20:01It was a poor strike from Scott McManus, he didn't catch it the way he wanted to watch it, ended up having to go backward and go towards his own goal to try and control it, and he doesn't.
20:15All of a sudden, Patrick Thistle are off the hook.
20:23Clark in two minds, sidesteps Brian Graham.
20:27There's a chance he took and got away with, but United have been rocked by that goal, no doubt about it.
20:37I think you can see the system that Patrick Thistle have in place.
20:41Brian Graham up top, you've got Stanway, Fitzpatrick, and Crawford there as well, but they're able to latch onto that back three.
20:53As soon as the ball went back to Josh Clark, Stanway was up on that right-hand side and he was shutting down the option to go out the other side.
21:03I think Beth swings it into the area, out comes Clark as well.
21:07And immediately fires it forward for Oakley to chase.
21:10Meguat watches it all the way, though.
21:13It's Patrick who's got a kind break of the ball, but can't really test Josh Clark.
21:39Well, there's far more opportunities in this game, isn't there? Already.
21:48That wasn't the best defending there from Agber and Wotra.
21:52The big centre-half just left the wing-back to deal with that, really.
21:56When, for me, he should have been getting involved and helping out far better.
22:02Let's see here.
22:19Just wonder whether Patrick could have looked to just go and try and take Wotra on as well.
22:24He's on that inside left channel where the likes of Jimmy Murphy would love to be as well, he's very similar in that regard.
22:31Go and take the full-back on, get a bit closer to goal before you have the strike.
22:37Here's Murphy lining up this free kick. Swings it in, Oakley's the target, Ashcroft there first door.
22:47Meguat completes the clearance, Fitzpatrick will chase it again.
22:51Reading just plays it back rather aimlessly down the line and out of play.
22:56No headband for Lee Ashcroft, incidentally, tonight.
23:03He's got his forehead underneath.
23:05His forehead's just there.
23:06He put his forehead to use there, because that was a dangerous ball from Murphy.
23:19He got up and cleared it.
23:22They've already had a couple of moments where the ball into the box, but Macbeth and Ashcroft in particular have been there to win it.
23:35I know it's obviously been the vast majority of the season now, but that physicality of Anton Dowds that he had earlier in the season in partnership with George Oakley was a real threat.
23:49They've never really been able to replicate or replace that.
23:54No, that's a fair point.
23:58I'm sure the way he started the season would have suggested that he'd continue to play a really big role in their promotion push.
24:06Hopefully he'll be back fully fit for the start of the next campaign, wherever that might be.
24:15Here's Oakley.
24:18After looking to make up the ground in support, here he is.
24:23Coming infield, finding Roos. Roos with the shooting opportunity, but brilliantly closed down by his opposite number, Lee Ashcroft.
24:32He's going to play from Stanwy and then gets himself the free kick.
24:44He doesn't get too many opportunities in the starting line-up end, Stanwy will be looking to grasp this one.
24:50I like him though, I think anytime I've seen him, he always looks like he's capable of hurting the opposition.
25:03Great work ethic as well, the youngster.
25:06Mark Wilson is going to be absolutely over the moon with how this opening stage has panned out.
25:13As for Scott Brown, as much as the disappointment of course of losing the goal,
25:20I'm sure the message he'll be putting across is just stick to the game plan, nothing is bad enough that needs to change here.
25:29No, not at this stage, quarter of the game gone.
25:36And we are pretty much in the same position as we were pre-kick-off on Tuesday night.
25:44Crawford looking for Graham to chase that, McMahon is seeing it out of play though.
26:03The supporters are finding it difficult enough.
26:13He's got the sunglasses and the two hands up.
26:37He's obviously not got your particular favourite brand of sunglasses on, Al.
26:42appears.
26:53It's Fitzpatrick looking to cause problems.
27:05Exactly go long.
27:06going long. Turner wins it in the air though.
27:15Good ball from Young-Low, I like that, good composure.
27:19He's initially looking to try and play one longer,
27:23and he just wraps it into Brian Graham's feet, he's giving him a wee clap there as well.
27:36Here's McBeth with the free kick, looking for Ashcroft.
27:52McBear throws it away, Manigan's header's not a good one, neither has Watford's touch though.
28:06McBeth looking to go a bit more direct, Fitzpatrick
28:29looking to get in behind but watch it cut it out.
28:33Here's McClennan.
28:36It's dangerous when he travels with the ball and he's got a good pass for Murphy.
28:40Past Megwa, but of course came Turner on the cover.
28:45But Megwa had also done enough, he'd just held him up.
28:50He managed to smother the ball when Jimmy Murphy was trying to check down the line.
28:56It allowed Turner to come in and clear it all up.
29:01Here at Mitchell, out on his near post to claim that one.
29:05Here at Mitchell, out on his near post to claim that one.
29:11Here at goal kick.
29:26There's a goal kick, so Graeme goes down holding his shin, not a sight of any part of this whole supporter ever wants to see.
29:56I think just as Mark Mackenzie's going backward there, he's obviously just stood on Brian Graeme's toe or caught his ankle just as he's backtracking.
30:12You can just see the anguish on his face as the collision was happening.
30:21I see it here, Mackenzie just backtracking.
30:26I think he's just studs on the top of his boot.
30:46Take more than that to Brian Graeme off.
30:49Here comes Mitchell.
30:59Here comes Mitchell.
31:00Here comes Mitchell.
31:04Here comes Mitchell.
31:16Lane of action over the course of the weekend and the coverage starts tomorrow at midday off the ball and sports on Rio Scotland.
31:27the ball and sports sound on Radio Scotland and then tomorrow evening highlights of all the
31:33Premiership action from Quarterpart 7 on the BBC Scotland channel
31:39Here's Reading, stepping forward.
31:59This is not going as the home fans have seen.
32:07Not going as the home fans had planned.
32:12Having come back from Firhill on Tuesday night with a victory under their arm.
32:18Many would have hoped that this would have been a formality,
32:22but I think they seldom pan out that way in this league.
32:31It's a poor pass from Agbe, it's put his side in trouble.
32:35Spitzpatrick picks up and just rolls that forward.
32:38It's not a good ball though for Lowe and Agbe are able to recover.
32:41Knocking forward, Bannegan's run it back again though for Thistle.
32:45Wins the free kick.
32:47Here United, actually the only club beyond Thistle that Bannegan has ever played for.
32:54He had a loan spell here many years ago, otherwise a one club man.
33:03It's good play from Crawford now.
33:05Can he pick out a team mate?
33:07He is not far away from doing so.
33:10Really good play from the midfielder.
33:13Yeah, very good.
33:15I'm unsure how on earth it's managed to find its way across the face of the goal.
33:19Josh Clarke was fully stretched here.
33:21Here just very slow to react, not great defending, but that's fizzed in there.
33:26Ah, yeah, that's it.
33:27There is the contact on it.
33:29I was just thinking that it didn't seem like the angle was right for it to have gone behind
33:34for the bye kick.
33:35It was at Stanway I think perhaps that it got on the end, got the head up.
33:41He just couldn't get enough purchase on it, could he, at the near post to direct it into the back of the net.
33:47He's good at that.
33:48You know, he's somebody that has got really good energy.
33:51Gets himself into those dangerous areas quite often.
34:01Play off the head of Woh.
34:04McLennan swings it in to Bion McKenzie, he'll go and chase it.
34:08Reading available.
34:10Behind him.
34:14McKenzie made a mess of that though.
34:16It was an early pass on to Reading, took an extra touch and ended up fouling Turner.
34:25It does feel like things have swung the way apart at this momentum-wise, Michael.
34:31Yeah, absolutely.
34:33After what was a very bright start for United tonight, and with them being 1-0 up as well,
34:39the goal is definitely to a different slant on things and Mark Robson will be happy.
34:45He'll feel like his side are obviously winning the game here tonight, but it feels like they're the more dangerous just at the moment.
34:53Ideally, he'll be wanting to try to double that lead and get their noses in front over the tie.
34:59Well, this changes system for Partick Thistle in terms of Meg were playing right-sided centre-half and Stan Way coming in for Lawless.
35:13I think it's actually helped them.
35:15By the way, that's credit to United as well because they've obviously thought they needed to switch things up a little bit.
35:19It's allowed Fitzpatrick to play more centrally, and Stan Way's got greater legs and energy than Lawless, who's a very nice technical player.
35:33But I definitely think it's been the right call so far from Brian Graham and Mark Robson.
35:53Yeah, seems to be working here, United frustrated.
36:07And there's flexibility in it as well.
36:09You know, Megua can easily just flip across to playing a more natural right back.
36:14They can go to four.
36:16Turner can step up.
36:18He's got great adaptability and he can almost play as a right side of midfield.
36:24He's going to play on the far side.
36:3534 minutes have flown by.
36:50Bannigan into Macbeth.
36:53And now Lowe is the pass-off to Fitzpatrick.
36:57Eichbeer with him.
36:59Lowe joining in, but Eichbeer shows good strength to win it on the pair of them.
37:06And now it's Roos leading the charge for United.
37:10Held up and dispossessed.
37:13United fans want a free kick, but he just ran into trouble when Thistle have it.
37:19Attacking once more.
37:22Watch it with a good challenge on Fitzpatrick.
37:25Loads happening.
37:27Loads.
37:28Good defending initially from Agbeth.
37:30And then Marco Roos being able to run with the ball, which is one of his real strengths.
37:34But Patrick Thistle just managing to hound him and surround him with too many bodies where he lost possession.
37:41I don't think it was a free kick.
37:43And then watch it with a really important sliding tackle in on Hayden Fitzpatrick.
37:49McLaren gets the decision there.
37:54Like Beth, I'm judged to have touched it last before he went out for a throw-in.
37:58But every throw-in and every other decision keenly contested here tonight.
38:04With so much on the line.
38:06Clarence Heather is a wayward one.
38:11Here's Stanway.
38:13Slips it to Fitzpatrick.
38:15Back infield to Banigan.
38:17Scott Brown said in his pre-match interview he was anticipating another change of formation from Thistle, but it doesn't feel like they've properly dealt with it.
38:43You can see he's not happy.
38:48Just when the ball goes back to David Mitchell there, the whole side was pretty slow and been getting themselves up the park to actually put a bit of pressure on Partick Thistle.
39:01And you can see the way the United started, they were aggressive, they were getting right after Partick.
39:07Whereas that just showed you that they've well and truly been forced onto the back foot and they're not able to get themselves up the park, which is clearly frustrating the manager.
39:19Manigan just forces it forward, Crawford will chase it, and turns it back to Clarke and thumps it first time up towards the halfway line.
39:41Ashcroft with the header and walks it.
39:45Stanway just poking it through but doesn't find Fitzpatrick, forward comes Redding, purposefully out to Murphy now.
40:03Back onto that right foot, teasing delivery but just behind Oakley who stretched the leg out behind him but couldn't make the contact he was looking for.
40:15And the chance is gone.
40:17Yeah, it was a good driving run from Redding.
40:21You can see George Oakley grappling with, I think it was Macbeth on that occasion.
40:29And the ball just drifts behind him.
40:36Here's another issue, Kyle Turner clearly just carrying a knock that he's not totally comfortable with.
40:43This looks like coming right from his hip down into his knee.
40:51It allows Scott Brown to get a quick huddle going.
41:02The change is going to have to be made here.
41:09This is the difference between the sides right now.
41:11He just seems to know where to be in the penalty area, doesn't he?
41:17Coacher extraordinaire.
41:21So, Kyle Turner's race is run, and Zanda McKenzie is going to come on, another teenager.
41:35He's dropping like flies at this stage of the season, but Zanda McKenzie actually played a fair old part in the playoffs a couple of seasons ago.
41:41He's yet to really make himself an established first-team pick at Fairhill, but still just 19.
41:51Come on, put a shift in for the remainder of this one.
41:53Come on, put a shift in for the remainder of this one.
41:57Does look like it's just a straight swap there at right wing-back, McKenzie going into that role.
42:03McKenzie going into that role.
42:09McKenzie going into that role.
42:11McKenzie going into that role.
42:19Dempsey, who barely mentioned, hasn't been able to get a control of the match.
42:23He hasn't been able to get a control of the match.
42:25He hasn't been able to get a control of the match.
42:27in the middle of the park as he did on Tuesday night.
42:43Dempsey, who barely mentioned, hasn't been able to get a control in the middle of the park as he did on Tuesday night.
42:55He's got a frustrating figure so far. George Oakley has not really had much to work with.
43:11And looking like quite an isolated figure.
43:19Man gets his head to initially, supported forward again, but out of play.
43:35This was last victory was a 4-0 win. September 23, that came in the back of the 5-0 playoff win here as well.
43:51But they haven't won in the last three visits. A couple of defeats and a draw.
44:07But with their noses in front so far tonight, all square in the tie.
44:15Dempsey picks up.
44:19Weights Agbair forward.
44:23That's one of the few occasions I can remember where they've started to string a few passes together and getting into this final third.
44:31Clennan takes it to Oakley, now it's Watch It.
44:37Can't get it round Low.
44:39Good experience shown from young Low there.
44:45Seeing it out of play.
44:47Relying his 17 years of age.
44:49He hadn't even been in a matchday squad before tonight.
44:53Here he is, drafted straight into the first team.
44:57And after, you have to say, the first couple of minutes, Watch It got a bit better on him a couple of times.
45:03But since that, he's put in the ball for the goal, obviously.
45:06And he's looked very assured, very accomplished.
45:09Clennan has not looked out of place at all, which makes it all the more incredible when you think he hasn't been involved in the first team squad at all.
45:17Yeah, he's played his part.
45:21Clennan penalised for dragging McLennan to the ground.
45:27Yeah, there's no question of Phil here.
45:45You can see Bannigan pulling Conor McLennan to the ground.
45:52Some of the home supporters calling for a card, but Walsh has kept him in his pocket so far.
45:58That's good tenacity by Stanwy.
46:01Now it's Graham, forward for Stanwy again, in steps McMahon.
46:06I think Bear with a good first touch and finds McLennan.
46:13About to watch it, goes down by Lowe.
46:17He had a little pull at him there as well, and that'll be a pre-kick.
46:21And the Howells from the home fans again.
46:23And on another day, you would see cards for these kind of pulls.
46:29Yeah, but I'm not overly fussed about that, to be perfectly honest.
46:37You could understand the frustration from the home fans.
46:39Yes, of course.
46:40But I mean, look, I suppose what you're looking for is the inconsistency.
46:43If it's applied across the board then to get on with.
46:48And when it's in the final third and you're clearly pulling somebody back and it's stopping an opening or whatever,
46:55then there's no ambiguity for me.
46:57You know, it doesn't matter what game it is or what time of the game.
47:02The ones in the middle of the park like that.
47:05I think, you know, fair play to the referee, Nick Walsh.
47:09There's Murphy, that's a lovely little turn away.
47:15Looks to free, watched it, but Lowe watched it all the way and cut it out.
47:21Important intervention.
47:23Just the last couple of minutes here, United have been a bit brighter.
47:29Finishing the half far better.
47:34Graham comes in and fouls Dempsey from behind.
47:37Just stuck the boot in as he was about to play it forward.
47:52I could have hit Conor McLennan's feet there, I think.
47:55Jamie Murphy just spin one round the corner.
47:58Go and look to play off him.
48:03Oakley.
48:05Roos going down, no free kick.
48:08That'll be a free kick though as McLaren comes back and takes Bannigan down.
48:12There's the Thistle fans who weren't happy with the referee on Tuesday night.
48:27I think the boots on the other foot tonight.
48:30Big halftime team talk coming his way.
48:32Big halftime team talk coming his way.
48:33Big halftime team talk coming his way.
48:42Big halftime team talk coming his way.
48:45Big halftime team talk coming his way.

48:50Big halftime team talk coming's way.
48:51Big halftime team talk coming your way.
48:53An
49:16POPPING THE BALL A BIT BETTER CERTAINLY HERE UNITED WITHOUT HAVING TESTED DAVEN MITCHELL
49:30A COUPLE OF MINUTES OF INJURY TIME STILL TO PLAY AS MCLENNAN COMES FORWARD
49:35MCBETH OUT TO TRY AND MEET HIM BUT CAN'T STOP THE CROSS BANIGAN'S THERE THOUGH
49:40TICKING A GOOD POSITION
49:43THEY'RE FINISHING THE HALF STRONGLY AGAIN AIR UNITED AND IT'S THIS RIGHT HAND SIDE

50:22KENTI FORCES IT FORWARD, REDDING STANWAY TUSTELING
50:24THISTELE THROW IN
50:25Thistle throwing. Final minute of the first half. Thistle looking to end it pretty much as they began it.
50:41Throwing doesn't reach Dry Grail. Here's Low. Can't get it over McMahon.
50:51Takes a couple of touches on the edge of his own box. Gets the pass off to Agbair under pressure.
51:01Clicked forward but to no one really. Likewise the clearance by Ashcroft.
51:08That should be pretty much that for a lively first period in which that man has had the major say.
51:21There goes the half-time whistle.
51:27And Partick Thistle, courtesy of a Brian Graham six-minute header.
51:33Drawn level in the tie and that's how we stand going in at the interval.
51:39Jamie Loney's debut whipping in the corner to set up the goal just moments after Marco Roos had passed up United's best chance from inside the penalty area.
51:49That wasn't taken. Brian Graham grabbed goal number 99 in the Thistle jersey to make the half-time score at Somerset Park.
51:57Somerset Park, Air United 0-0. Partick Thistle won. One apiece.
52:01One apiece.
