Germany’s colonial rule in Africa from 1884 to 1918 disrupted local economies, exploited natural resources, and caused immense suffering. High school students from Tanzania, Cameroon and Namibia share what they expect from Germany today: from official apologies, reparations, development aid, to educational opportunities.
