Thousands of devotees’ throng to celebrate Meenakshi Sundareswarar Celestial Wedding in Madurai

Madurai (Tamil Nadu), May 09, 2025 (ANI ) : The chariots of Lord Sundareswarar (Swami) and Goddess Meenakshi (Amman) have reached Melamasi Street in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, as part of the Chithirai Festival at the Meenakshi Amman Temple. The procession is a major part of the festival, attracting large crowds of devotees. The festival celebrates the coronation of Goddess Meenakshi and the celestial wedding of Meenakshi and Lord Sundareswarar
