Transcript
00:00Hi it's Derren Howard here from Sussex World Newspapers just outside the
00:04Brighton Hove Albion training ground after Fabian Herzella's press conference
00:08just before Saturday's game against Wolves at Molyneux Stadium. Brighton
00:13just got three matches to go now from until the till the end of the season
00:16starting against Wolves who have picked up picked up well of late they've been
00:20in a good runner form and it's expected to be quite a tough game for Brighton
00:25this weekend and then once they get this one out the way they've then got two
00:28matches left to play one against Liverpool at the Amex and then against Tottenham
00:32for the final match of the season they're still in contention for a European
00:36place probably eighth position would likely see Brighton secure a conference
00:43league spot next season which would be which would be a good achievement for
00:47Brighton this year considering the number of injuries that they've had and the
00:51amount of transition that's been happened at the club this season and just on the
00:55injury front some bad news for emerge from the press conference for Soli March
01:00remember he's been struggling with the knee injury suffered a really bad cruciate
01:05knee knee ligament injury back in 2023 and he hasn't really been able to get a
01:12good run of fitness going since then it was a lengthy rehab and then this season
01:17he's had a couple of appearances from the from the bench he made one start against
01:23West Ham where he played for 60 minutes on the right wing and did did fairly well
01:27but but I think there's always been a bit of a knee an issue with that knee still
01:31and he's been he's had some surgery I asked Fabian Herzella about that today and
01:37he has actually had some surgery minor surgery it was called just to clean out
01:42and repair some some damage which which can sometimes occur after a serious
01:47operation so he's now out for the rest of the season but the hope is that he'll
01:53come back fit and firing in preseason so fingers crossed and all the best to to
02:00Soli March on another as he embarks on another surgery and a possible rehab as
02:05as well on the plus side Carol Matoma who missed missed the game against Newcastle
02:12with a heel injury he's back in contention I just actually saw him walking
02:16across the car park actually and he seemed to be here seems to be walking
02:19pretty pretty well as he went into the into the training center so that's a
02:24that's a real bonus for for Brighton to have Matoma back he was missing against
02:30Newcastle and they really missed his threat on the on the left on the left wing
02:34James Milner and Jorginio Ruta Milner's obviously been out for most of the season
02:39but there was some positive news for him he's been back in back in rehab he's
02:44not quite training with a team he won't be available for for Wolves but I said it
02:49was hopeful that he could be of maybe back in time for the for the Tottenham or
02:54the Liverpool matches as we near the end of the season and the same for
02:58Jorginio Ruta as well who's been missing with an ankle injury since since the
03:05Nottingham Forest FA Cup defeat so he'll hopefully be back for run for
03:09that game for the final two matches as well but all the news all the injury
03:14news and reaction from the press conference will be on the Sussex World
03:18website and we'll be heading up to Wolves this Saturday so keep posted on the
03:23Sussex World website to see how Brighton get on in their in their final
03:27matches of the season thank you
