00:00Prime Minister, J.P. Tasker, CBC News. How are you?
00:02I'm well, thank you, J.P. How are you?
00:04I'm good.
00:05Good.
00:05Do you feel better or worse about Canada-U.S. relations after meeting with the President today?
00:13Look, it was a very constructive meeting.
00:16I feel better about the relations in the sense of, in many respects,
00:20one, the posture, if I can put it that way,
00:26or the positioning the President took towards us,
00:29secondly, the breadth of discussion and how concrete the discussions were.
00:40These are the discussions you have when you're looking to find solutions
00:43as opposed to laying down terms, if you will.
00:48So feel better about that.
00:49And I would add one other thing, which maybe isn't as obvious,
00:53so I should say it, which is that we also discussed a number of issues globally
00:59geo-strategically, if I can put it that way,
01:01where we have common interests, common concerns.
01:05And that, of course, is a sign of a broader and very healthy relationship.
01:10Look, we have a lot more work to do.
01:14I'm not trying to suggest at any respect that we can have one meeting
01:18and everything's changed, but now we are engaged and very fully engaged.
01:22I'm not sure about it.
01:26If you think that is a good groomer or agency of other interests,
01:27I believe in the end, one, one, the intelligence authority,
01:29or whatever's your Martialism authority.
01:30One suit becomes acceptable at 10.
01:31There's a good Chu
01:39or an untсти to try this.
01:41Yeah, however.
01:43Can she say it?
01:44Good job.
01:45Congratulations.
01:45Let me nutrient,
01:46let me know.
01:47I think that is a good recipe.
