00:01Jack, 2-1 win against the Oval to sign off the league campaign and getting on the score sheet as well yourself.
00:06Pleasing way to refer up the league today.
00:08Yeah, obviously pleased for myself to get another goal and add to my tally.
00:12Yeah, it's a bit of a sort of stop-start game, not really much quality.
00:16It's probably a typical end of season kind of game.
00:19But, you know, we've come away, we've managed to get a win and that was important going into Wembley on Sunday.
00:25Yeah, I mean obviously it's going to be a historic day for the club on Sunday.
00:28First time ever playing at Wembley, I mean, it must be great for you as players.
00:32You've obviously made that history and you're obviously going to be really looking forward to it now.
00:35Yeah, I think the whole club's looking forward to this day and being a club,
00:40obviously they haven't been at Wembley yet, so what a day it's going to be.
00:45We just really enjoy this week and take in the moment.
00:48A good sign off of a win today going into that to build a bit of confidence before the game, obviously.
00:53Yeah, we kind of said that before the game, you know, let's get a win and take it into the final,
00:57because we have dipped a little bit in form.
01:00And like I said, it's just one of those situations, you always get your eye on the final.
01:04No one really wants to get injured.
01:06No one wants to leave that little bit of a, you know, put an extra bit into a tackle.
01:09Everyone sort of wants to be fit for that game.
01:11So we knew how it was going to be leading up to Wembley, but no, today was important we got a win.
01:16And obviously when you won the semi, you were sort of in great form and might have had a bit of an eye on the playoffs.
01:21But then obviously once that sort of playoff dream went, then I guess obviously Wembley does sort of play in the back of the mind a bit, doesn't it?
01:27Naturally, I guess.
01:28Yeah, I think we've collectively, you know, as in the whole sort of club, sometimes we've taken off the gas a little bit,
01:36especially a couple of games sort of after the big one.
01:40But it took a lot out of us, I think, you know, with the moment and everything like that.
01:43So it was one of those situations where, you know, we've dipped in form, but today was such an important game for us to kind of just get a win.
01:51And now we can go into Wembley all looking forward to it.
01:55Yes, they're looking forward to it. The fans will be looking forward to it.
01:57Oh, Wembley!
01:58Pleasing for the fans, home fans today, just to sign off with a home win, you know, wrap up that sort of aspect.
02:03Yeah, you know, so pleasing for the fans that have come out in numbers today.
02:06And just thankfully, you know, we could get a win and, you know, it's looking good towards Sunday.
02:13So, no, we're all looking forward to it. And I can't wait. It's going to be such a good day for the football club.
02:17And obviously, injury-wise, I mean, Cam Hargreaves had to come off, didn't he?
02:21I mean, I guess no one really knows yet with that. But otherwise, everyone seems to come through fine.
02:25I think, yeah, I think Cam's won, which is a bit of an impact, you know, just brought him off.
02:30There was no need to risk it, really. But no, other than that, I think everyone's come through today.
02:35So, rest tomorrow and then back in on training and ready to go for Sunday.
02:40Yes, obviously, rest day. And then, obviously, everyone's going to be really sort of champing at the bit in training this week.
02:45And I guess it's going to be with the game on Sunday, it's going to be slightly different, slightly different week.
02:49Yeah, I think it's literally the same as the normal week, but obviously the game's on Sunday.
02:54So, you slightly auto your week a little bit, but nice business as usual.
02:58Train hard this week and be ready for that final on Sunday.
03:01And in terms of the day itself and the plans, do you know how the day's mapping out in terms of travelling up and stuff like that?
03:09Yeah, we'll do it like a normal week.
03:11We'll travel up on the Friday, train somewhere near Wembley, stover night, and then be ready and raring to go on a Sunday.
03:20So, yeah, it's just the same as like a normal week prep really, but obviously it being at Wembley.
03:25Obviously, it is going to be a big occasion and a great occasion.
03:28But presumably, you've got to try and tap into that, but also treat it like a normal game at the same time.
03:33Sort of like balance that, both aspects of it really, presumably.
03:37Yeah, it's one of those situations where, you know, everyone's got their eye on the final.
03:42I think even in training, everyone won't want to get injured, put that little bit of an extra yard in.
03:46But, you know, we've got to be raring, train properly, do all the prep that we would normally do.
03:52And hopefully it can be a really good day come Sunday.
03:56And obviously you scored the winner in the semi against Woking.
03:58That was a historic goal for the club.
04:00You'll be dreaming of maybe getting one at Wembley as well.
04:03Yeah, I think, you know, I was probably lucky enough to get the club to Wembley with the goal.
04:09But no, listen, I'm raring to go now.
04:11I've scored today and my confidence is high.
04:14So going into Sunday, so I'm really looking forward to it.
04:16Hopefully, I can get the goals and lift the trophy at Wembley.
