Review of franchises pushed  Alyansa Para sa Pagbabago senatorial candidate Erwin Tulfo on Wednesday pushed for a review of legislative franchises of private utility companies following numerous complaints over the allegedly poor water services of the Villar-owned PrimeWater Infrastructure Corp.   “It’s time that Congress review the their performance. If they really can’t deliver satisfactory service, cancel their franchise,” he said during a pre-rally press conference in Malolos, Bulacan.   Former Senate president Tito Sotto said that public utilities like water must be a priority, while former senator Ping Lacson called for a congressional inquiry into PrimeWater’s poor service.
