00:35pinstripes which is classic dandy we just wanted it to feel like what it would look like if i was
00:40just wearing one of andre's shirts so i have this yummy strawberry blonde ash little units just gonna
00:51be plastered on my coat for glam we have pat mcgrath labs for makeup we got coca on the nails we got
00:58law styling me for the first time so it's very exciting it's gonna be amazing and yeah the theme
01:04is hard everyone on the team is hard so we're gonna have a good time
01:07i am here currently working on tyler's hair for the met gala today well let's talk about the theme
01:20super fine tailor and black style that is mind-blowing to me it's amazing and it was something really
01:27exciting when i heard it i was like i can't wait to do the met gala you know and and transform my
01:34girls into something you know very black as far as the look goes like i spoke to law we had several
01:41meetings we talked about the concept and it's just fresh and it's very clean it's young it just felt
01:46like we needed to add some kind of like masculinity to it because it's so feminine and just like perfect
01:52and very tailored that i thought it would be great to go short and throw it to the left and do a
01:57little blonde you know it's just kind of like add a little edge something that tyler's never done
02:01tonight was you know the perfect night to play a little bit what it means to me honestly it's just
02:06paying homage to all the beautiful black women that were in hollywood and i was trying to make it in
02:12the industry in the late 20s the 50s you know and it's like tonight is a night to showcase you know
02:18the excellence and the hard work that they put into allow girls like tyler to be on center stage
02:24in front of millions of people and showcase her beauty and fashion tonight is is their night as
02:29well as the dapper boys she can pull it off she can do she can do it all so you know i mean when you
02:36you got face card don't decline you can go blonde but today we're going to keep it very clean and
02:41beautiful and with a little bit of androgyny it was really nice for us to like talk and
02:45and you know put our fashion senses together and create this like you know amazing concept and
02:51here we are about to make it happen make it come to fruition it was a group chat and i'm not giving
02:58you the number i think this theme is um special especially like in terms of like where i'm from
03:10in south africa how dandyism is like very relevant in our style too so i really think it's a cool
03:17theme so i'm excited to go to this one i've had bliss for a while so i'm excited that it's coming
03:23out the song makes me cry every time i love it so much and yeah i previewed it at coachella i wasn't
03:31supposed to but i did and my tigers love it so i'm happy i can't wait for it to be theirs now coming

03:40we were discussing with tyler and all of the team and once i saw the outfit and everything
03:57that's when i was like okay she was talking about being obsessed with vintage hollywood
04:02so we were looking at josephine baker dorothy dandridge jean harlow all of those stars so it is going to be
04:08about a bit of a smoky eye we're playing with different sizes of lips we're still in the idea
04:13of we're going to test a couple of different lip looks and just gorgeous glowing skin because tyler
04:19has the most incredible skin
04:20hi it's koka and i'm doing tyler's nails today for the 2025 met gala we had this creative call it was
04:28really fun to see everybody bounce ideas off of each other once i saw the pinstripe immediately i wanted
04:34to take inspiration from that and then added an extra glam because tyler loves you know
04:38being glowy and doing something different always so i wanted to elevate the look by adding texture
04:51yusuf got this tuna melt on my cup and it's looking lovely i'm so excited this blonde is so hot
05:00early on you had said you wanted the browns and the honey tones and it really works with the hair
05:06doesn't it like playing with the brown around the eyes but i love that we went with the brown
05:10lip yeah don't we right so i love that we're doing just a gorgeous contoured lip with a nice nude lipstick
05:17in it right i love yeah i love it looks so gorgeous oh my word lo is calling me yeah we wanted to talk
05:26about the look i think we both were really inspired by andre when we think about us dandy when we
05:33think about someone who exudes excellence in fashion and takes risk and taught us all so much
05:40for you to imagine that you know had you had the chance to meet him and um him to be kind of like a
05:49grandfather to you and to wrap you in his one of his shirts right i think that was just such a
05:56beautiful sentiment and it's such an incredible way to pay homage to him i think what was also so
06:01important is that for us to find a partner and jacques moves that was willing to listen to our vision and
06:10collaborate and just to bring it to life and to send his team that worked so hard um on every single
06:17small detail just to make sure that you know the dream was realized and and that you felt connected
06:24to the theme you know i thought that was really really beautiful and the look has to be topped off
06:29with a pen i think the custom magnifying glass piece that they made this was really creative all right
