00:00So we have Xander Shoffley next shortest odds to win the reigning PGA champion going off at 11 to one his history quail.
00:08He's made five starts here, made four or five cuts.
00:10He's never won here, but he's finished second twice in 2023 and 2024.
00:15Those were constituted both of his top fives and top tens.
00:19He missed the cut in 2017, the PGA championship Xander.
00:24I think, you know, we've talked about the fact that, you know, it was it's a tough start to the year coming off a two major campaign to have the injury that he did.
00:32But where he jumped back in on the schedule was a very difficult run of golf.
00:36And he acquitted himself well from the early going and played some good golf there for a while.
00:41So where do you kind of see him in this event?
00:44You know, do you feel like he could be a sleeper pick?
00:46You get some real value here for a guy that has one of the best games in the world and just won the PGA last year.
00:51I think he could repeat.
00:53I really do.
00:54I think Xander Shoffley is is 100 percent going to be slept on coming into this week.
00:59The reasons why, you know, when you go and look at his stats this year, you'll see the putter has been very poor for him.
01:07I think if any of the players that you're going to name, I would say that Xander Shoffley statistically, if we go back to last season, is clearly the best putter of of the entire.
01:19I would say best players in the world.
01:21I would take Xander over any of them.
01:24And this year, the putter has been off.
01:26I don't foresee that to continue.
01:29That's to me seems like a something that's totally fixable.
01:33Whatever of its technique, speed, just not playing enough golf, not being in rhythm, whatever that might be.
01:37I see it being fixed.
01:38He's obviously had success here.
01:40But what I love to see is that his iron game is really, really good.
01:46We've seen that kind of tick up over the last three or four weeks that he's played.
01:50Obviously, when you start your season at Bay Hill, it's going to be a really tough start to find your rhythm.
01:57The driver's been like off here and there.
01:59It's not that he's driven it poorly.
02:01It's that I think it's just been, you know, two or three around.
02:05That's maybe not quite what he was looking for.
02:07So when you go to a golf course that has some space, yes, of course, there's going to be some rough you have to deal with.
02:13But, man, I love Xander Schauffele's chances.
