00:00Here is Steve Kerr talking about more great contributions from Steph Curry.
00:05I'm blown away by Steph's competitive fight, you know, at 37.
00:10Been doing this forever.
00:12He had four rings, gold medal, everything he could possibly want in his life he's got.
00:20He has nothing to prove, and yet he's going to come in and try to prove something every single night.
00:26It's amazing.
00:27Draymond, too.
00:28Jimmy, too.
00:29And that's the common theme, the common denominator with all these guys.
00:35It's their competitive force, how much they love to play and compete and win and the process of going through it and putting themselves on the line.
00:43The fact that these guys continue to put themselves on the line year after year after year, it just blows me away.
00:50The competitive spirit and energy and love for the game, it's beautiful to watch.
00:55I got to tell you, and I've said this erroneously many times on this show over the years.
01:00I cannot believe, still, to this day, that Kerr puts up with this guy Green.
01:09Honestly, like I've said, how many times have I said, oh, they're going to get rid of him.
01:12He's sick and tired of this guy with all of his antics, punching teammates, getting in fights, getting thrown out of games, double tacks left and right every season at the tech limit, always in the middle of brawls, always playing dirty, always doing stupid things.
01:29And I'll tell you why he puts up with it, because he's going to retire with all those rings, Kerr, with the dubs and with the bulls, and he knows that basically Draymond Green is Dennis Rodman.
01:44He is absolutely a freak and a sideshow and a problem and a distraction and a fighter and an instigator and a troublemaker and a bad overall person on the court.
01:59He's a dirty, nasty player.
02:02And I think at the end of the day, that's what Kerr likes, that he's such a lunatic and a defender and he's willing to die for the Warriors that they've never given up on him.
02:12That team has never gotten rid of that guy with all of the problems he's brought that franchise and bad press and attention and everything else.
02:20They've never gotten rid of him.
02:22And they're going to ride with him until he, I think, retires.
02:26And I was wrong.
02:28I thought for sure they had, you know, how many times have I told you I think Kerr's sick and tired of this guy?
02:33And that he, at the end of the day, he'll admit that he was a pain in his ass.
02:38But he's also going to say, he's already said it.
02:41He's the greatest defender I've ever coached.
02:44And I think everyone that ever played with Dennis Rodman, like I know Dennis really well.
02:50And I was friends with Dennis.
02:52And Dennis was the best rebounding and defender I've ever known in my life.
03:00I've never seen anyone.
03:01He was a maniacal lunatic.
03:03He would dive into the crowd, into metal chairs, into tables.
03:08He would fight.
03:09He would do whatever it took to win, to get a rebound.
03:13Literally a rebound, he'd kill for it.
03:15He would kill you for it.
03:17He'd kill it.
03:18He would sacrifice his children for a rebound.
03:22I've never seen anything like it.
03:23I think Green's the same player.
03:24I hate Green.
03:26I think I hate him because he's such a D and because he's so great.
03:29Since you're on him, Luke, I'm sure, can move up one and do Draymond next then, since you just talked about him.
03:36Here is Draymond.
03:38Of course, he usually has a lot to say.
03:39How about him actually tipping the cap to the other team?
03:43You don't see this very often from Draymond.
03:45E-May, the way he had those guys fighting, I gained a lot of respect for that team throughout this series.
03:52One of the toughest series I've played in, personally.
03:57But that's a young team to be reckoned with.
03:59And I told myself I'm going to talk crazy because they have been talking crazy all series and on the internet.
04:05But I gained so much respect for those guys.
04:07Shungun is an incredible player.
04:10The way Fred Van Vliet and Steven Adams led those guys, they had no experience.
04:14And they led them, took us to the brink.
04:17That team's going to be a force to be reckoned with.
04:19And I hope they understand it.
04:20You know, things can change fast in this league.
04:22You're only on the up until you're not.
04:25You know?
04:27But they got something promising that they can continue to build on.
04:30Jabari Smith, incredible.
04:32He played like a vet this whole series.
04:34He's getting his spots, knocking big shots down.
04:38A lot of respect for those guys.
04:40Yeah, he didn't say anything about Jabari Green because he was awful.
04:46Jalen Green was absolutely awful.
04:49Jabari Smith was great.
04:50I thought Green was terrible.
04:52And I thought Draymond Green was awesome.
04:55Thompson was good, too, for Houston.
04:58Thompson played well.
04:59The Thompson twins, great band and great players.
05:02Green had 38 points in game two.
05:05You remember the big game, too, that he had with 38 points.
05:08In the other six games combined, he scored 55.
05:13He had 38 and one.
05:15He had 55 in the other six combined.
05:18And he was awful last night again.
05:19Don't be fooled by 55.
05:21He was terrible.
05:22Oh, yeah.
05:23I mean, literally, you're talking less than 10 points a game for a guy who's supposed to be, you know, their volume score.
05:32Their big score.
05:33He was their leading score.
05:35Supposed to be the guy and just did not get it done.
05:38So, we're using those two.
05:39So?
05:41Oh, yeah.
05:41So do you like the one?
05:42Yeah.
05:42What if he failed or just did not twist it in the other six games?
05:43Who could the pair and still have that point end up there?
05:48Thank you, Mr.
