00:00The Rockets stormed the court in game number six to four, a game number seven, which meant, Joe, all momentum back on the Rockets' side.
00:07Wow, the Warriors let that one slip away, only to find themselves in a game number seven in H-down and win that one, 103-89.
00:14Sometimes you can just take the temperature of the series, like, oh, man, you had a team in the Warriors that should have won easily.
00:19Now it's a game number seven. How did they come out?
00:21Won the first quarter, Joe, won the second quarter, up double digits at the half.
00:25You expend a lot of energy just trying to come back like the Houston Rockets.
00:28It just wasn't your night. 103 points here, fine for the victory.
00:33You can't score 89 on your home court.
00:35It feels like almost game number one where the Rockets just couldn't find their way.
00:38But you do look for superstars in a one-game playoff, essentially, which is what that was.
00:43Buddy Heald, 37 minutes, 12 of 15 from the floor, which included 9 of 11 from three-point range,
00:5033 points in a game number seven for Buddy Heald.
00:54And the Warriors move on, Joe.
00:55Listen, the Warriors had more made threes than the Rockets had attempted threes.
01:02And you are never beating the Golden State Warriors when that happens, period.
01:07And it really was kind of over in the first half.
01:1212-point halftime lead for Golden State, Donnie.
01:15And this Houston team, they won with defense.
01:19That's how—that was their M.O.
01:21They put together this box-in-one, you know, sort of zone that kind of flustered Golden State
01:30in a couple of games here.
01:32But boy, oh boy, did they figure it out in game seven.
01:36And they figured it out because it was all meant to anybody but Curry.
01:40And, you know, in years past, it was, okay, you're going to guard—you're going to take Curry out.
01:45Well, Klay Thompson's going to destroy you.
01:47And guess what? Buddy Heald stepped right into Klay Thompson's role, and he absolutely destroyed them.
01:54They were all over Jimmy Butler and Steph Curry early, and they just kept finding the open guy.
02:01You got Draymond Green involved.
02:02There were—it was a great effort by the Golden State Warriors.
02:06And that is why experience matters in the playoffs, in crunch time, in a game seven.
02:12They figured it out, and they—it was over at the half because I didn't think there was any way,
02:18even when Houston got it back within three in the third,
02:21that just didn't feel like they had a grip on how they were going to get back into this game
02:26and run away from the Warriors.
