00:00How do the Red Sox replace Tristan Kassas?
00:03Christian Campbell.
00:04I'm going with Christian Campbell.
00:06We had talked a bunch of different scenarios when Kassas was struggling,
00:11and that was one of them that came up.
00:12A lot of different names have been tossed in there.
00:15But I kind of like that one because he plays a few spots.
00:17You're not even locking him into one position.
00:20If he was your second baseman every single day, then that's one thing.
00:24But you're putting him in the outfield.
00:25You're moving him around.
00:26And he's not like a gold glove second baseman or a gold glove outfielder.
00:29I slide him over to first base.
00:31It allows you to bring Marcelo Meyer up.
00:34So right now you're also kind of combining this Kassas injury
00:36with a chance to kind of shock the system a little bit
00:39and get everybody kind of fired up.
00:40So I'd have Meyer play second, and I'd have Campbell play first.
00:43So I think Campbell's an interesting one
00:44because I think long-term the best fit for him is second base,
00:48but he might not be ready for it.
00:50What might be best for the team is shifting him over to first.
00:52It's a way to get Meyer up, as you suggested.
00:55He's a big target over there.
00:56I wonder long-term how the bat plays,
00:58but trying to figure things out and win games in the meantime,
01:01that may be the best way to go about it.
