26:25the girls are going to be here literally probably in the next 10 minutes oh my gosh it all feels so
26:44real i know it's filling up in there you know i know i can like feel the atmosphere which is exactly
26:49what i wanted i can't believe the day it's finally here the room is all decked out it looks amazing

30:26reason why we're here hello everybody i just wanted to say a massive welcome and thank you
30:33all so much for coming this is for such an amazing cause today which is so close to my heart and it
30:38means the world that you're all here and i'm very excited i just wanted to point out that today's all
30:42about raising funds and awareness for this amazing cause rachel and i have both got two great charities
30:47involved and we brought two reps with us today from the charities to do a little speech my name is lisa and
30:53i'm from the charity the pink ribbon foundation i'm laura i'm a volunteer for medic uk we are the
30:59only metastatic breast cancer patient advocacy group in the united kingdom we work very closely with
31:05rachel and we are a uk breast cancer charity that is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year the
31:12speeches at our charity event are really necessary for people to understand why they're here and what
31:18we're raising money for but to see ellen her mom getting really upset well i want to cry basically
31:27it's such a tough day it is but that's why we're here i've been living with metastatic breast cancer for
31:3317 years as an exceptional responder to treatment most people aren't that fortunate it's the biggest killer
31:40of women in the united kingdom under the age of 50 55 000 women a year are diagnosed with breast cancer
31:49and 400 men sometimes at these events you're having such a good time but you do forget the reason why
31:56you're there and these speeches are hitting home hard the one thing i would like you to take away from
32:02today is to check yourselves or get someone else to check you i don't mind you can do it whichever way
32:07you want it's more fun if someone does it for you i think i just want to say thank you on behalf of
32:12metup uk for inviting us here today and helping us to spread this crucial awareness message it's a
32:18privilege to be here and thank you so much i have to do my speech next but i'm absolutely petrified but
32:33i really want to do my mom proud and speak out good afternoon everybody first of all
32:46as you can see today is an extremely emotional day for me and my family
32:56i'm looking up at l and this is so tough i've got so much respect for her right now a little while
33:02ago we got the news that no one wants to hear my mom was diagnosed with stage four secondary cancer
33:07after being in remission for 12 years i won't stand here because it hasn't been the most challenging
33:11part of my and my family's and my mom's life but one thing about my mom is that she's a fighter and
33:17beyond all work she has faces like gnosis with more strength and courage that i can comprehend to be
33:22able to stand here and stay and share my mom's story with my family is something that i've been scared
33:27to death to do if this can help one of the person to raise a little bit more awareness then
33:32i think i've done my mom proud from the bottom of my heart on behalf of my fault my whole family i
33:36thank you so much for being here and making this event possible and throughout all i couldn't have
33:40done it without all your support as hard as it is for el to get up there and say those words i think
34:01she will look back on this and be so happy that she got to say those things and her mom heard them
34:09because not everyone gets that chance i actually have no idea how i got to the end of that speech
34:19or how i even managed to say anything i'm just overwhelmed with emotion right now i can appreciate
