00:00Very first wrestling program of 1991. Gordon Sully is going to give you an investigative report on the world heavyweight title situation and then an age-old rivalry is renewed.
00:10Beautiful Bobby Eaton against Ricky Morton of the Rock and Roll Express all this morning on the Power Hour.
00:30The wrestling fans following tag team events, it is set for one fall.
00:51Introducing Kirk from Cincinnati, Ohio, weighing 226 pounds, Ryan Brown!
01:00And from Minneapolis, Minnesota, 251 pounds, the Z-Man!
01:10Their opponents, total combined weight 491 pounds, first from New York City, Ed Frost!
01:17And from Knoxville, Tennessee, Joe Kazana!
01:23And welcome back with us everyone here this morning on the Power Hour.
01:27Joe Kazana, Ed Brock to take on Flyin' Bryan and the Z-Man.
01:34Paul, we're going to see the Z-Man tonight defend his newly won World Television Championship on World Championship Wrestling tonight at 6.05.
01:42Yeah, but you know what else I'm excited about tonight?
01:44We're also going to see the two top contenders for that very title.
01:48Double A.R. and Anderson and Terry Taylor fight it out to see who just gets the next shot at the Z-Man for the World Television Championship.
01:56We will be speaking more about tonight's broadcast and tomorrow night's broadcast as well throughout the program here this morning on TBS.
02:09Front face lock by Joe Kazana trying to apparently suplex the Z-Man, but the Z-Man, as we have documented, a real hot streak.
02:18Oh, what a move there!
02:26Flyin' Bryan drop-kicking Joe Kazana right off the top turnbuckle.
02:34You know, I'm very surprised that the Z-Man would team with Flyin' Bryan on this morning's show.
02:39You know why?
02:41Why, Paul?
02:41I mean, now that he's the World TV Champion, he has to be looking behind his back.
02:45He has to watch out for all his former friends now that might want a shot at the money and the glory that the TV title brings you.
02:52Brian Pillman could double-cross the Z-Man.
02:55I don't think the Z-Man's worrying about that whatsoever.
02:57Flyin' Bryan and he are still very good friends.
03:01Pillman with a chop there.
03:02And another big one, Flyin' Bryan, who will meet nature boy Rick Flair at the Clash of Champions on Wednesday, January the 30th, from the CNN Center Atrium.
03:13More on that in the hour.
03:18Snap suplex by the Z-Man.
03:20Loats on top.
03:22Didn't get the leg grapevine there.
03:23Yeah, you see, Z-Man was out of position.
03:25He didn't have the leverage necessary.
03:26He was totally out of position to pin his opponent.
03:28And the opponent was stunned by the maneuvers of the Z-Man, but the Z-Man just could not, he couldn't only hook the leg, couldn't even keep the shoulders down for a two-count.
03:36Flyin' Bryan dropping the knee on Ed Brock here on the power hour, trying to get him on his feet, takes him right back down.
03:43Snap mare there by Flyin' Bryan.
03:46And an elbow drop on Ed Brock.
03:48The Flyin' Bryan showing the, he's still in our first broadcast of 1991, still the aerial man that we saw in 90.
03:58Yeah, but I don't like the fact that these guys are going back to a tag team situation.
04:03I mean, both are really trying to make it in singles competition.
04:07Z-Man has made it in a way.
04:09He's the world TV champion.
04:10The best wrestler on television.
04:12Look at this beautiful right here.
04:14What would you call that?
04:15A half-bosting crab?
04:16That's what it is.
04:17A half-bosting crab.
04:18And Bryan Pillman headed to the Clash of the Champions on January 30th.
04:22Against Nature Boy.
04:23Ooh, Ric Flair.
04:24I mean, I wouldn't be in a tag team situation.
04:26I'd keep in singles competition right now.
04:28Well, I think the promoters went to these two young guys and asked them to be on our first broadcast.
04:33There's a super kick in a tag team environment.
04:38Well, the promoters should mind their own business.
04:41The elevation by Flyin' Bryan and the pin.
04:46Ladies and gentlemen, the winners in the match.
04:48The team of Flyin' Bryan and the Z-Man.
04:54Flyin' Bryan and Z-Man tag team competition.
04:56A lot of fans have asked to see those two outstanding young men in action again.
05:00You have it.
05:00That's right.
05:01But they are in a spiral.
05:04They're single careers.
05:06I'm really impressed with Flyin' Bryan and Z-Man.
05:08I think they're going to go to the top.
05:09Against Doom?
05:10Against the Horsemen?
05:11Against Doom?
05:11I think they're going to go to the top in one-on-one competition.
05:14Both of them now have set their sides from single competition.
05:17I think they both have great potential.
05:18So they have two choices.
05:19Go against Lex Luger for the United States Heavyweight Championship
05:21or go against the nature boy, Ric Flair.
05:24But yeah, the Z-Man's on a roll.
05:25Let's give the guy credit.
05:26He's had, what, 30, 40 straight victories.
05:28He has not been panned in, what, six or seven months.
05:30Has never submitted in his life.
05:32And Flyin' Bryan, a protege himself of nature boy, Ric Flair,
05:35could possibly give the mentor a lesson.
05:37But I don't think it's going to happen.
05:38I'll be real honest with you.
05:39I'm always honest with you.
05:40I've never...
05:40What are you doing?
05:41I'm talking now.
05:42How about the danger zone tomorrow?
05:44Better be nice.
05:45Better be nice, young man.
05:46You, you, you re-stated it.
05:48You do all.
05:49For the time being.
05:50That's on.
05:50Tomorrow.
05:51Fancy.
05:51We'll be back.
05:52We'll be back right back.
05:52Tag Team event.
06:05It is set for one fall.
06:07Introducing first, accompanied by their number one roadie and best friend,
06:12Little Richard Marley, from Bat Street, USA, in Atlanta, Georgia,
06:18the greatest rock and roll band of all time, the Fabulous Revis.
06:35Their opponents, total combined weight, 472 pounds.
06:39First from Washington, D.C., Tommy Angel.
06:43His tag team partner from Seymour, Indiana, Rob Morgan.
06:50Well, Paul, I'm sure that the fans are wondering what Little Richard Marley is doing here with
06:54the Freebirds after what happened at Starrcade.
06:57Do you have a little information on this?
06:59Because I saw the Freebirds back in the locker room area, and they were not talking to Little Richard whatsoever.
07:06He was kind of following around, but what's going on?
07:09Well, you know, the Freebirds like Christmas so much that they want to continue in the Christmas spirit
07:14and turn the other cheek, and they kind of have forgiven Little Richard Marley,
07:19but it's really on a day-to-day basis.
07:21I mean, if he messes up one more time, you know, he's out permanently.
07:25It's like how every week I forgive you right here on the Power Hour.
07:30Very benevolent of you.
07:32Tommy Angel is tossed outside by Michael P.S. Hayes.
07:36No!
07:37Thunder is chopped there by Michael Hayes.
07:41And the Freebirds on a pretty good hot streak, as a matter of fact.
07:48They have a United States Tag Team Championship matchup with the signings coming up in the next few weeks.
07:57Which is a match that they earned because Michael Hayes beat Rick Steiner on national TV.
08:02Yeah, that was a little somewhat of a fluke.
08:06Nice sunset flip there by Tommy Angel.
08:10Jimmy jammed Garvin back up very quickly with a front face lock from that position.
08:14They execute the DDT, which I'm sure they'll be trying to set up a little bit later in this contest.
08:22Oh, and it's not just the DDT.
08:23It's that devastating left hand of Michael P.S. Hayes.
08:27Could be a champion boxer any time he wants to.
08:32We hope he'll be with us tonight, ladies and gentlemen, for World Championship Wrestling.
08:35Begins at 6.05.
08:37Renegade Warriors are going to be there.
08:39Harry Taylor and Arne Anderson will go one-on-one as well.
08:42Go ahead.
08:45I know you've been wanting to say it.
08:47Go ahead.
08:47Tell him where you're going to interview tonight.
08:49I'm also going to be interviewing Lawrence Taylor, the New York Giants.
08:51There was that left hand Paul was referring to.
08:54Special interview with Lawrence Taylor, the New York Giants,
08:58about this Friday night's event in the Meadowlands, East Rutherford, New Jersey.
09:02And then tomorrow night on the main event, my rebuttal.
09:05That's right.
09:08Equal time.
09:10See, now, isn't that nice?
09:12See, they forgave him.
09:14Just like I forgive you.
09:15If I was a little rigid, I certainly would not trust Garvin and Hayes.
09:19After the beating they had...
09:20They took care of the thing and took it on him at Starrgate.
09:26You know, you need to be more forgiving.
09:28Perhaps so.
09:29You're probably right.
09:30Happy New Year.
09:31Belly back suplex by Michael P.S. Hayes and Rob Morgan.
09:37We're excited about Monday night.
09:38The World Championship Wrestling will be in Perry, Georgia for the first time at the Henry L. Reeves Arena.
09:47You know, that's a really nice arena I heard about.
09:50That's a new building that they just built.
09:52And it's like, from what I understand, it's perfect.
09:54Stay the art.
09:55Yeah, it's like, for some reason, I don't know why they didn't build it in New York,
10:00but it's not a bad seat in the house from what I understand.
10:02We'll be there Monday night.
10:03And then this Tuesday night, another exciting national television taping beginning at 7 p.m.
10:10at the Center Stage.
10:11Of course, that's on West Peachtree in Atlanta, right next to the Art Center Marta Station.
10:17Well, I've got to say something about that now.
10:19There is one bad seat at Center Stage.
10:22Where's that, Paul?
10:22The one next to you.
10:25Well, I think it's one of the best buildings in America to come watch the television taping.
10:31And Rob Morgan tossed outside of the fans who've joined us at Center Stage this Tuesday night.
10:36And Little Richard out there trying to make amends with the Freebirds.
10:43Yeah, but, you know, that's what got him in trouble at Starrcade.
10:45He was supposed to keep his eye on Robert Gibson at Starrcade.
10:49He didn't do that, and he got punished.
10:51We wish him the Merry Christmas!
10:53We wish him the Merry Christmas!
10:55They're selling the Christmas spirit.
10:57That's all, Jim.
10:57Happy New Year!
10:58Happy New Year!
11:00Happy New Year, Jim.
11:01Thanks, Paul.
11:03You're welcome.
11:04You need to appreciate me more, you know.
11:07You think John Lovitz is Harry Hanukkah?
11:10Harry Hanukkah.
11:12Harry Hanukkah.
11:13Get it right.
11:14You always get those names wrong.
11:15But you know what?
11:16I forgive you, because it's not so wrong.
11:19Oh, please.
11:21That's not wrong either.
11:23The DDT by Jimmy Jam Garvin.
11:27They are dominant here.
11:29Ladies and gentlemen, the players of the match, the fabulous Freebirds!
11:36Freebirds will beat the Clash of Champions here on TBS Wednesday night, January the 30th,
11:41from the CNN Center Atrium.
11:44And let's hope Mr. Turner's right there in the front row to witness the greatness of the greatest rock and roll band of all time, the fabulous Freebirds!
11:55You know when the Freebirds use the DDT, it is a really devastating maneuver, and I hear a lot of rumbling that they are hot on the trail of the Steiner Brothers for the U.S. Tag Time.
12:18You see, the Steiner Brothers are a great tag team.
12:20I mean, they are the United States Tag Team Champions.
12:22They're on the International Tag Team Tournament, but they don't have a lot of brains.
12:25And the Freebirds have always been categorized as the smartest team in wrestling.
12:28You know, tomorrow may be on the dangerous, but I'm going to take these nasty Steiner Brothers, because I think they're just...
12:32Hey, hey, hey, hey.
12:33Remember, Mark, you're a good boy.
12:36What a chance.
12:37I think they're the best tag team in wrestling.
12:38I hope they speed up the Freebirds.
12:40I hope they get revenge for what those dirty, rotten, stinking Freebirds did to Robert Gibson, because I love Robert Gibson.
12:46I know you do, too.
12:47He's one of my best friends in the world.
12:49You go from one extreme to the other.
12:50I just want you to tell it like it is.
12:52Just be your old self, kind of, sort of, and make a very quick assessment of Rick Steiner, who's going to be in a one-on-one matchup next.
12:59Do you know what I'm saying?
13:00I think he's a great athlete.
13:01I do, too.
13:02He's my favorite wrestler of all time.
13:04I want to be a member of this anthem.
13:06I really do.
13:06Let's go to the ring.
13:07Okay.
13:07The following contest, it is it for one fall.
13:12Introducing first, from Detroit, Michigan, weighing 265 pounds, one-half of the United States tag team champion,
13:23which is Brother Scott, is Rick Steiner.
13:28Rick Steiner in a one-on-one contest here on the Power Hour.
13:31From Durham, North Carolina, 241 pounds, Charles Coates.
13:37Chuck Coates, from Tarheelia.
13:42Where's that?
13:44That's what they call someone that lives in North Carolina, a Tarheelian.
13:47Like Bob Cottle, who will be with us tonight on the World Championship Wrestling, is a Tarheelian.
13:52Well, I'll tell you what.
13:54If Rick Steiner hits this guy with a Steiner line, he's going to go to Parts Unknown real quick.
13:58Whoa!
13:59Right there.
14:01Steiner line just nailed Chuck Coates.
14:03Ladies and gentlemen, from Parts Unknown, Chuck Coates.
14:08Great right hand by Rick Steiner.
14:11Randy, don't call me Pee-wee Anderson, the referee here.
14:15Pee-wee, Pee-wee, Pee-wee.
14:17You know, the Steiner's have signed to be on the Clash of Champions live here on TBS,
14:21Wednesday night, January the 30th, and it's going to be held in the CNN Center Atrium.
14:27It's really going to be a unique setting for a professional wrestling event live here on TBS.
14:32Oh!
14:32And another Steiner line.
14:34Oh!
14:34That's how quick the momentum can change in a match involving Rick Steiner.
14:39You think the Steiner brothers are...
14:40Oh, no, no!
14:41Oh!
14:42Middle-to-back suplex.
14:45Please give this guy a bone and let him go home.
14:48He makes me nervous.
14:51The Steiner brothers will be at center stage this season tonight, by the way.
14:55He missed.
14:56Yeah.
14:57Idiot.
14:57He missed.
14:58What are you, blind?
14:59What did you go to?
15:00The Ray Charles School of Wrestling?
15:02Your opponent's in the middle of the ring.
15:03And now he waist-locked him.
15:09Sets Chuck Coates up on the top turnbuckle here.
15:13What is he going to do to this guy?
15:15We've got a sneaking speed in the end this near for Chuck Coates.
15:20We've got the elevation.
15:21Belly-to-back.
15:22Belly-to-belly suplex off the top turnbuckle.
15:27And ladies and gentlemen, the winner of the match, Rick Steiner!
15:33I think he sincerely enjoys what he does for a living.
15:38The part of Chuck Coates will now be played by Jimmy Hoffa.
15:43The Steiner line by Rick Steiner, one-half of the United States Tag Team Champions, headed
15:48on January 30th to the CNN Center Atrium, the class of the champions.
15:54Still to come, Terry Taylor, Michael Wall Street, Sid Vicious, Bobby Eaton takes on Ricky Morton, but next is Gordon Sola.
16:02All over America, fans, World Championship Wrestling, the best is coming to an arena near you.

17:01On Saturday, the 12th, Washington, D.C. Armory, 8 o'clock, it'll be The Steiners, Doom and Big Cat.
17:05And on Friday, the 11th, at the Meadowlands in East Rutherford, 8 o'clock, Sting, Rick Flair, Lex Luger, all over America, World Championship Wrestling.
17:14Welcome to the Wrestling News Network.
17:19And this week, of course, our main concern and our main thrust is the World Heavyweight Championship.
17:24Who would have believed that there were five scorpions and one would suddenly appear out of nowhere
17:31and be the man to face Sting, the World Heavyweight Champion, inside a steel cage?
17:37The legendary Dick the Bruiser was the referee.
17:39We're going to take a look.
17:42The closing moments of that situation will see exactly what I'm talking about regarding the World Power.
17:46They're trying to finish it off for good.
17:59They are trying to finish things off for good.
18:05Well, if there's a horseman in there, then it leads for me to bleed, and it would be another horseman.
18:13Give it up for that mask!
18:14No!
18:15No way!
18:17Certainly, some of the greatest action ever seen at the historic Keele Auditorium in St. Louis
18:22on that night of the Starcade with the five scorpions.
18:26Well, Sting has retained his World Heavyweight Championship,
18:30but he's been battered physically, emotionally, and mentally.
18:34And Flair is a bitter man right now.
18:37He wants that World Championship one more time.
18:40We're going to be hearing some comments from the World Champion and from the former Champion right now.
18:46Life goes on in professional wrestling for me.
18:49I'm still the World Champion.
18:51I wish I could feel good about it, Flair.
18:54The only time I'm going to feel good, though, is when I get back in the ring with you.
18:58I don't care where it is, Rick!
19:01You stepped over the line one time too many.
19:04One time you tried to put me out.
19:06A second time you tried to put me out.
19:07Never by yourself!
19:09Well, you better make sure that you get the job done next time you get in the ring with me, pal.
19:14Sing!
19:16That's the voice you've had to live with.
19:20That's the voice you've had to hear as you closed your eyes every night for five months.
19:30Sing!
19:30Now, Sting, now you hear the voice of Ric Flair.
19:38The voice that is really going to haunt you until I wear that world title around my waist for the seventh time.
19:49It's the look of the ninth, bigger, better, most of all, more determined than ever before to be the new world champion.
20:05Sing!
20:06Think about it!
20:08Ric Flair comes for the seventh time!
20:11Woo!
20:12Woo!
20:13Well, certainly all of you and I thought that the Starrcade 90 in St. Louis at Kiel Auditorium would be a final chapter for the World Heavyweight Championship.
20:23Now all we know is it is indeed Ric Flair who was the Scorpion and posing as the Scorpion along with his four co-henchmen and the horsemen themselves.
20:35The issue is a long way from being settled.
20:38Sting is determined, so is Flair.
20:411991 will tell the story.
20:42Wrestling fans, the following contest, it is set for one fall.
20:59Introducing first, from Vero Beach, Florida, weighing 234 pounds, Terry Taylor!
21:08Terry Taylor, who did not a World Championship Wrestling, will take on Arne Anderson.
21:14That's a 6.05 tonight.
21:15California, 261 pounds, Brian Carr!
21:23Brian Carr, double-tough individual, will take on Terry Taylor.
21:26Still to come here this morning on TBS.
21:29Michael Wall Street in action, plus Big Sid Vicious of the Horsemen will be here.
21:33And beautiful Bobby Eaton against Ricky Morton of the Rock and Roll Express, renewing their rivalry.
21:39And by the way, I think Gordon Sully dipped into too much of that leftover eggnog.
21:44Why's that?
21:45Did you see that jacket he was wearing? That went out in the 50s.
21:49Well, thank you very much.
21:51Who do you think you are? Somebody from Kuppenheimer or someplace?
21:54All right, look, let me just get this.
21:55Back to consultants?
21:56Listen, from now on, you're going to have to let me do my material on this show,
21:59or I'm going to start working with Shivani again.
22:02Really?
22:02Would you put that in writing?
22:04I'd get away with murder with him. I worked with him for two weeks last year.
22:07He sold his house and moved to Connecticut. I'd walk all over him.
22:11Dropped toehold by Terry Taylor as Brian Carr made his way to the ropes.
22:17It was a smart maneuver, don't you think?
22:20Might have been at the time.
22:21I mean, when a quarterback runs out of bounds, they say,
22:24Oh, what a smart quarterback. He didn't want to get tackled by a linebacker.
22:27A jerk like Lawrence Taylor, who you're going to interview tonight at 6.05 on World Championship Wrestling.
22:32We look forward to bringing the fans that for the first time on TBS.
22:37That'll be tonight at 6.05.
22:38Tomorrow night, that's a steady broadcast. Good move there by Taylor.
22:42The Jooster and Norman will take on the Freebirds.
22:45Also, Paul E. will have his opportunity to speak his mind about the Meadowlands this Friday night.
22:54And fans, if you're watching our broadcast in the great northeast,
22:59you plan on making this in the Meadowlands.
23:01Good seats are still available, I understand, at the Meadowlands box office.
23:04I heard Bill Parcells was going to buy a lot of tickets for his whole family.
23:11They can watch me make a fool of Lawrence Taylor.
23:15Imagine Lawrence Taylor having enough guts to enter the danger zone.
23:20You're lucky that you reinstated the danger zone on Sunday nights, you know.
23:25I am?
23:25Yeah.
23:26Why? Are you going to tell me I was going to prevent a potential lawsuit?
23:29My lawyer, Seymour Green, met with Al Sharpton.
23:32We're going to file a big lawsuit against you for discrimination.
23:35Right.
23:35You don't like people from New York.
23:37That's not true.
23:39Brian Carr doesn't like Terry Taylor, apparently, either, because he's nailing Taylor.
23:45Taylor's had, I think, some legitimate beefs with the front office at World Championship Wrestling
23:53regarding his opportunity to wrestle for the television title.
23:57Well, for once, I've got to agree with Terry Taylor.
24:00I mean, here's a guy whose career has totally mishandled all his life.
24:03Nobody ever gave Terry Taylor the credit that he deserves.
24:06Everybody was to the advantage of him being a nice guy.
24:09So, oh, so now he's not going to be such a nice guy anymore.
24:12I've got to agree with him on this one case, except for one thing.
24:15What's that, Paul?
24:16He's signed against a very tough opponent, Brian Carr.
24:19If Brian Carr beats Terry Taylor, does he fight double AR on Anderson tonight on WCW?
24:23I don't, I think the contract tonight is signed and it's going to go on no matter what the outcome of this match may be.
24:30Brian Carr with the right hand.
24:35Hammering Taylor from behind there.
24:37Brian Carr, not too fancy, but pretty effective right now.
24:41Setting Taylor in.
24:42Header catches him coming in, however.
24:44Taylor's had quite a problem in recent days, not only with his mind on the television championship, but also with Michael Wall Street.
24:56Well, of course you're going to have a problem with Michael Wall Street.
24:58I mean, how can the human mind outthink a computer?
25:02Goose slam by Terry Taylor.
25:03Well, I don't think Taylor's intimidated whatsoever by Wall Street's ability or his planning.
25:11And here comes a real equalizer in the square circle, and that's the five arm.
25:19Ladies and gentlemen, here's your winner, Terry Taylor!
25:24Terry Taylor, an outstanding athlete, and when he and Michael Wall Street next meet, it should be a classic matchup.
25:34I think one very indicative of the style of WCW wrestling.
25:37Now, what do you think about Alexandra York?
25:40Yeah, this is my kind of lady.
25:42Now, you didn't invite Misty to come out here again at the end of the show, did you?
25:45No.
25:45Well, that's good.
25:47Misty's kind of a noisy.
25:48Get that greasy voice.
25:50But Alexandra York, you know, I thought I was modern.
25:55I thought I was post-modern.
25:56I thought I was the head of MTV, but I brought the telephone into wrestling.
25:59And then here comes this little, little, tiny little girl, like 97 pounds.
26:03Petite.
26:04Very good word, Jimbo.
26:06And she brings in computers.
26:07Wrestling has entered the computer age, you understand?
26:10And Alexandra York from Wall Street, my hometown of New York City, has brought wrestling into the computer age.
26:15I don't think Michael Wall Street can be beat.
26:17You can't beat a computer, it's smarter than the human mind.
26:20She's also got a lot of brains, as you said, and she's not married.
26:23Do you know that?
26:24Huh?
26:25Let's go.
26:25Yeah, let's go to the ring.
26:28Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest, it is that for one fall.
26:33Introducing first, accompanied by his administrative assistant, Alexandra York,
26:38from the financial district of lower Manhattan, Michael Wall Street.
26:44She's not married, huh?
26:47Nope.
26:48What I hear.
26:49Got her phone number?
26:51Not yet.
26:53Did you get it?
26:54Would you give it to me?
26:55No.
26:57Thanks a lot.
26:58I don't dislike her that much.
27:02And ladies and gentlemen, his opponent from Tampa, Florida, 285 pounds, Rick Bardrock.
27:08Is he his family in the cafe business?
27:13Hard Rock Cafe?
27:15I don't get that joke.
27:16Never mind.
27:18Oh!
27:19Oh, I get it!
27:20You'd like to be an unemployed camera person.
27:22Cafe!
27:24I thought you'd say coffee.
27:25No.
27:26You have to start talking like a New Yorker for me to understand.
27:30Don't worry about it.
27:30I'm just going to take care of it.
27:31Alexandra York there with the computer printout.
27:36I wonder what they're predicting victory here in probably less than three or four minutes,
27:43I would assume.
27:44You know, I saw Missy Hyatt with a sheet that long once.
27:48Oh, yeah?
27:49And all her boyfriends for Friday night.
27:52She's not coming out at the end of the show, is she?
27:55Not to my knowledge.
27:56You always invite her.
27:57I don't always invite her.
27:58She just has a...
28:00She shows up.
28:03How does she get by security?
28:05See, that's a number...
28:05Two reasons she gets by security, Paul.
28:07Yeah?
28:08One is, she's got a security pass.
28:11And number two?
28:12And number two is...
28:13And we, yeah, we all know number two, but we can't talk about that on the air.
28:17Because you know what kind of woman Missy Hyatt really is.
28:19Oh, I'm not going to get into that.
28:21All right.
28:23Michael Wall Street nailing Hard Rock here.
28:26Boy, Wall Street is really on a...
28:30Really has been impressive in recent weeks of down the stretch here by Michael Wall Street.
28:37We've talked about his pitcher in the money section of USA Today several weeks ago.
28:46He had a very impressive victory.
28:49Let's start, Kate.
28:50He's headed to the Meadowlands this Friday.
28:56He's going to be at center stage this Tuesday.
28:58There's Miss York.
28:59She'll be there with him.
29:00They'll be in Perry, Georgia this Monday night.
29:03Sunset Flip and Rick Hard Rock got a surprising two count.
29:08And the former athlete known as Mike Rotunda, now legally, he says, has changed his name to Michael Wall Street.
29:19He hasn't changed any of his wrestling background or his ability.
29:23Now, standing competitor, and as we have said, he is, I don't think it's, as far as Terry Taylor's concerned, none of the situation with Taylor.
29:31There's a lateral press, but didn't really have the fitting predicament on there.
29:37Well, I think Terry Taylor is in big trouble because Michael Wall Street has computers on his side.
29:42And not only that, there she is.
29:43You sure she's not married?
29:45That's what I hear.
29:46Pretty darn sure, as a matter of fact.
29:49Wow.
29:50You want to give her a call one day.
29:52Yeah, like Morgan Fairchild, huh?
29:54Yeah, that's just, you can't, and Wall Street, with his nice legs, too, doesn't he?
30:00Keep your mind on the match, Paul.
30:02It's a new year.
30:04Hey, did you know that I am the president of the Michael Wall Street fan club, the, um, um,
30:09Scarsdale champion.
30:10Yeah, how'd you know that?
30:14All right, and a head scissor applied by Michael Wall Street.
30:18In our program, still to come, Vic Sid Vicious will be here, 6'9", 325 or so.
30:25Plus, beautiful Bobby Eaton takes on Ricky Morton in a great one-on-one matchup.
30:29We'll be talking a little bit more about the Clash of Champions.
30:32As you can see live here on TBS, Wednesday night, January the 30th,
30:36it'll be held in the CNN Center Atrium.
30:40Talk more about that, hopefully, tonight as well.
30:43Tune in to World Championship Wrestling, and here is the move.
30:46Of a stock market crash, he calls it.
30:52And he's still impressive in less than four minutes.
30:55Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of the match, Michael Wall Street.
31:02Miss York, apparently pleased with the outcome, and rightfully so.
31:08What do they call him, Walmart?
31:09Buy low, sell high.
31:11The stock market crash by Michael Wall Street, headed once again to the front page of USA Today,
31:18headed this Monday to Perry, Georgia, and this Tuesday to Center Stage.
31:22Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest, it is at 12-1 fall.
31:41He's introducing first, representing the horsemen.
31:46From anywhere, he's done well, please.
31:49At 321 pounds, Dave did this job.
31:56I think he's mad.
31:57I think someone's flipping a stridex pad or something.
32:00It offended him.
32:01And his opponent from Dosen, Alabama, 244 pounds, Dave Perry.
32:12I already feel sorry for that guy.
32:13Yeah, look at that terrible haircut.
32:17Sid Vicious, a prominent member of the horsemen.
32:20Oh, God, run, run for your life.
32:22I don't know, look at Bill, you face.
32:26How's Dave Perry?
32:27I'd run for the hills right now.
32:31I thought he was going to power bomb him right there.
32:34He's going to torture this kid for a while.
32:37He can do whatever he wants to use.
32:40Sid Vicious will be on that lineup of 25 great stars this coming Tuesday night at Center Stage in Atlanta.
32:52It's on West Peachtree.
32:537 o'clock starting time.
32:55Great seats to be available right up until match time.
32:59You know what I'm saying?
33:00Why?
33:01Sid Vicious will win.
33:03Yes, sir.
33:05Okay, did you get that?
33:06Did you write that down?
33:07The door's open at Center Stage this Tuesday night at 6.30, by the way.
33:11And we'll be talking more about that tonight on World Championship Wrestling.
33:16I think he heard him.
33:18I heard him.
33:19Oh, Sid heard him.
33:20Oh, he feels sorry.
33:21Oh, yeah.
33:22And Saddam Hussein is, uh, feels sorry about what he's doing.
33:27This kid's in trouble.
33:28Wow!
33:29Clothes line by Sid Vicious.
33:33Gee, I don't care about nobody!
33:36But him.
33:39Doesn't care about anybody but himself.
33:41That's a healthy attitude to have.
33:42His driver wasn't proper, but the message was very clear.
33:47Vicious stomping on Dave Perry in the lower back.
33:51Vicious, Flair, Anderson, and Wyndham, the horsemen.
33:54A dominant group.
33:55And I take offense to the comparison that you made between Sid Vicious and Saddam Hussein.
34:02They both have some common personality traits.
34:04Uh-uh.
34:05They're both bullies.
34:06Wrong.
34:07At least Hussein shows a little bit of mercy.
34:09Vicious shows none.
34:16Vicious is a very impressive competitor.
34:18He's kind of the Bill Fralick of, uh, World Championship Wrestling.
34:23Fralick, my good friend for the place for the Atlanta Falcons is a 6'5", 275.
34:29Vicious is 6'9", 325.
34:32The Bill is probably one of the dirtiest players by the National in, uh, the National Football League.
34:38I think he earns that quite well.
34:39I think you've got to be that way to play in the offensive line in the NFL.
34:43Here it comes!
34:45Take your knife!
34:48Like Fredrick's pancake block, the powerbomb is devastating.
34:53Well, ladies and gentlemen, I'm ready to go to the next.
34:56Big Sid Vicious!
35:03Well, he doesn't forget a thing, does he?
35:05He knows everything there is to know about destroying an opponent.
35:11Sid Vicious!
35:126'9", 321 pounds, one of the four horsemen.
35:17Go ahead!
35:18Bill Fralick's so tough, maybe he'd like to get in the ring
35:22with the most awesome human machine of destruction on the face of the earth.
35:28Sid Vicious!
35:29Fans, when we come back, it's one-on-one.
35:32Beautiful Bobby Eaton will take on Ricky Morton.
35:34It'll be a great match-up.
35:35We'll talk more about it when we come back.
35:39You're watching the Power Hour on CBS.

36:55World Championship Wrestling.
36:57It is set for one fall.
37:00Introducing first, from the dark side, weighing 237 pounds, beautiful Bobby.
37:09Welcome back, everyone, to TBS and the Power Hour.
37:12Jim Ross and Paul E. Dangerously back with you.
37:15Don't forget to join us tonight on World Championship Wrestling.
37:18Two big hours beginning at 6.05.
37:20Arne Anderson, Terry Taylor will attempt to resolve their situation once and for all.
37:25The Z-Man will defend his newly won TV title.
37:27And I'll talk to Lawrence Taylor of the Giants.
37:30His opponent, from Memphis, Tennessee, one half of the Rock and Roll Express, Ricky Martin.
37:39Ricky Martin and Zina Babadis.
37:43Randy Anderson, the referee of this very important contest here on TBS and the Power Hour.
37:48I used to photograph these two when they were in opposing tag teams.
37:52Now Bobby Eaton on his own.
37:54No partner, no tennis racket, no, nothing.
37:57Ricky Martin, his partner, on the sidelines.
38:00He's not teaming with Tommy Ridge tonight.
38:02Here you go, one-on-one.
38:04And I've waited six years to see these two go at it with nobody else with them.
38:08Randy Anderson, the referee of this very important contest here on TBS and the Power Hour.
38:20We're very happy that you fans have invited us into your homes once again here this morning.
38:24Hope you had a very safe and happy New Year.
38:30Of course, the fans in Atlanta, many of them elated that Georgia Tech voted UPI National Football Champion.
38:37We want to congratulate Coach Bobby Ross of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket.
38:41Are you related to him?
38:43Well, I'd like to say I was.
38:44Now he's Coach of the Year, but unfortunately, no.
38:46I do admire his coach.
38:47Well, you Oklahomans can't really trace your family history anyway.
38:51But let's change the subject, shall we?
38:53We should.
38:53Oh!
38:54What a right hand by beautiful Bobby Eaton.
38:58He just nailed Ricky Morton.
39:00Are you trying to say that was a beautiful right hand by Bobby, huh?
39:05He really popped it.
39:08Bobby Eaton will be on that massive lineup Monday night in Perry, Georgia,
39:13at the new Henry L. Reeves Arena at the 7 o'clock start.
39:17He'll also be part of the spectacular card this Tuesday night.
39:237 o'clock starting time.
39:24Doors open at 6.30 at center stage in Atlanta on West Peachtree this Tuesday night.
39:30He's going to nail him again.
39:32Oh!
39:33Morton blocks it and fires back up with right hand, knocking Eaton back into the corner.
39:38The reversal of the Irish Whip.
39:42Got him!
39:43Got him downstairs.
39:46Good football block by beautiful Bobby Eaton.
39:52Nice elevation there.
39:54And upstairs goes Ricky Morton and the flying head scissors.
40:01Very fast-paced match thus far.
40:04Yeah, and Morton's doing a smart thing right now.
40:06He's trying to cut off Bobby's circulation.
40:08You don't want Bobby Eaton to breathe properly because when Bobby Eaton can breathe,
40:12Bobby Eaton can come at you from any direction.
40:13He can go to the top rope.
40:15He can come off the rope.
40:16He can go to the ground.
40:17Bobby Eaton is one of the best technical wrestlers in WCW anywhere today.
40:26Wham!
40:27On the right hand by beautiful Bobby.
40:29And he is certainly showing a very aggressive streak here this morning on TBS.
40:37Nice head-sensor again by Ricky Morton.
40:40Taking Eaton off his feet.
40:42I can't notice.
40:44He doesn't want Bobby to breathe.
40:45He's trying to wear Bobby down.
40:48We're excited about our class of champions broadcast here on TBS.
40:52It'll be live as it happens beginning at 8.05, Wednesday night, January the 30th.
40:58And it's going to be from perhaps the most unique setting for a live wrestling program in the history of television
41:05because it's going to come from the CNN Center atrium here in Atlanta.
41:12And I'm very excited that Missy Hyatt's not on the program this morning.
41:17I heard she's comparing plastic surgery bills with Jessica Hahn.
41:19Is that true?
41:20I don't think there's anything to do that, but I'm not real sure.
41:23He caught him!
41:24Wham!
41:25He slingshot Morton into the top turnbuckle.
41:28Nice suplex there by beautiful Bobby.
41:31And beautiful Bobby has reasserted himself in this contest against Ricky Morton.
41:38I think he got him.
41:40Got close.
41:41Got very close.
41:43Looks like Morton has hurt his hip there.
41:45He's grabbing his right hip.
41:46And there's nobody for little Ricky Morton to tag.
41:50Where's Robert?
41:52Where is Robert anyway?
41:54What hospital did the Freebird put him in this week?
41:57I think Robert is still back home rehabilitating that destroyed knee.
42:02Straight right hand.
42:03Beautiful Bobby knocks Ricky Morton out of the ring.
42:06Don't you think it just eats Robert Gibson up to watch his partner get beaten up by Bobby Eaton on national television?
42:16I'm sure that it does concern him a great deal.
42:21Great right hand.
42:23Hey, boy, I tell you, there's pretty strong language and some pretty strong contact here.
42:29This is a great rivalry.
42:31And even though they're partners of years gone by, and Eaton's manager no longer here on World Championship Wrestling,
42:41the rivalry between these two certainly hasn't subsided.
42:45Well, for six years, they have hated each other's guts.
42:48For six years, they've been fighting all across the country.
42:51I remember as a photographer, blood getting on my camera lens from the fights that these two used to have.
42:57And now, finally, one-on-one on national TV.
43:02Morton blocking.
43:05And trying to get Eaton up, even to the need of the midsection.
43:08Finally gets Morton up.
43:09Vertical suplex by beautiful Bobby on Ricky Morton.
43:14I think he got him.
43:17And Morton kicks out.
43:20We've documented Morton's tremendous fighting spirit.
43:25Interesting move right here.
43:28Short arm scissor.
43:31Oh!
43:32Submission maneuver, but Morton is fighting off the pain.
43:35Had his shoulders on the canvas.
43:37Look at Morton trying to maintain the feeling in his left hand.
43:40See, here's the thing.
43:41If Morton lays on his back...
43:43Whoa!
43:44He reversed it.
43:45Rolled out of there.
43:48Eaton used his leg strength to get Morton...
43:50Oh, here come the Freebirds.
43:52You saw them earlier.
43:53Now, wait a minute.
43:54They're just attacking Ricky Morton.
43:56That's going to be an automatic disqualification.
44:01They're certainly blatant with it.
44:05What a masterful plan!
44:11The Freebirds trying to break Ricky Morton's leg.
44:14The Seaman comes down.
44:16Al, what's that jerk doing there?
44:23Well, I'm sure we haven't heard the last of that situation, ladies and gentlemen.
44:27We're kicking off a great wrestling weekend right here on TBS.
44:30Outstanding broadcast tonight, 6.05.
44:32Tomorrow night, 6.05, with the main event with Missy Hyde and yours truly.
44:35The Danger Zone.
44:36We'll be back with us tomorrow night.
44:37Isn't that great?
44:38The Danger Zone.
44:39Bonnie coming back to TBS.
44:40Bonnie coming back to the main event.
44:41And I am so glad that you finally had enough time and said not to invite your buddy, Missy Hyde, out of...
44:46I don't need an invitation to be here.
44:49I just came out to wish everybody a happy and prosperous New Year.
44:54Did you invite her?
44:54I mean, you know, first it's Christmas.
44:56Now it's New Year.
44:57Did any other holidays like to come out here, Missy, and wish happy holidays to everybody else, huh?
45:02At least the ratings are a lot up when I'm not here until it's New Year.
45:05You know, if the ratings were up and you're making so much money, maybe you could buy some decent clothing.
45:10You know, I've been thinking all this time.
45:11All right, guys.
45:11At least I'm not wearing my dad's.
45:14Ladies and gentlemen, we'll get the kids here to straighten up.
45:17We'll see you tonight at 6.05 on the main event.
45:21So long, everybody.
