00:00Thank you. Thank you Bam Bam. Thanks for opening my eyes. I was getting soft. I was becoming
00:14just like everybody else around here. A team player. A company guy. Thank you for smarting
00:25me up and kicking my a**. But the thing is, you had to do it with my back turned. Big
00:37badass Bam Bam Bigelow. The beast from the east. Guy used to walk in a stone pony and
00:46people would shiver. Piss themselves. Brother you ain't 18 no more.
00:54Maybe, maybe you're not the guy you used to be. You had the chance to bust my jaw wide
01:03open face to face like men do. But no. You had to wait till my back was turned. And
01:12use my belt to crack me across the face. Oh you're bad. And I'm a mark, huh? No. The
01:23mark. There's anybody in Asbury Park, your hometown, that still believes in you. So
01:30you're a celebrity. I'm an athlete. You're a superstar hanging out with NFL football players
01:40playing golf. And I'm busting my a** in the gym at five in the morning. You're hanging out
01:49with all the big wigs. Woo hoo hoo. I'm just a miserable work horse. Breathing down your big neck,
01:59brother. So on March 1st, you better prepare yourself, big boy. Cause you ain't never ever been in that
02:11squared circle. My ring with anyone like me. And on a side note, Shane Douglas, the other champ
02:23around here. You're right, bro. I am a mark for this. The world television championship. You know, the whole
02:34while, you and Bigelow, pretty smart. You traded that world belt back and forth. Then somewhere
02:45along the line, you guys realized that this was the only belt that meant anything. You's got the
02:51world tag team gold. You got the world heavyweight belt. And that ain't enough. Why? Why, Shane? Cause you
02:57know, this is the thing that makes it happen. And I am the one who elevated it. Not you, you yellow
03:07bitch. Me. I made you tap in two and a half minutes. Why don't you come after me, brother? No.
03:18You send the big guy. The beast from the East. You can't send Candido. Cause I beat him so many times,
03:27I'm tired of it. And you won't send yourself. Cause you're yellow. And I made you tap. And that pisses
03:34you off. So you send Bigelow. Well, that's fine. Bring him. Bring that six foot four, 360 pound monster
03:44after little old Taz. Little five foot nine, 248 pound Taz. Bring him. Bring him. I'll see you on the first.
03:57Prepare yourself, Bigelow. Because I'm Taz. The world television champion. Beat me if you can, Bam Bam!
04:11Survive, if I let you.
04:41Stay alive, water only.
04:43Stay alive, baby.
04:44Stay alive, baby.
04:44See you on the first.
04:46How many of you buys the Genji
06:07And fourth, last week we saw it came down the Hostile City Showdown 1998, Taz and Bigelow
06:15against the franchise, Chris Candido and Triple Threat prospect Lance Storm.
06:20It was the night that the franchise promised that all three members of the Triple Threat
06:25would raise their fingers in triumph following the matchup.
06:30And indeed, when all was said and done, the three members of the Triple Threat could indeed
06:37raise their fingers.
06:39The match started with the prospect Lance Storm, or so he thought.
06:48Bigelow almost breaking Lance Storm at half, and at the time it seemed that Candido and Douglas
06:53were wincing in pain for their tag team partner.
06:57But deep down, they must have been relishing every moment of it.
07:05Unbelievable powerbomb.
07:08Bigelow trying to drive Lance Storm through the ring itself.
07:11As Candido and the franchise look on, most likely laughing internally.
07:25Bigelow tossing Storm like a frisbee.
07:28The franchise Shane Douglas, the ECW World Heavyweight Champion, wanted Taz in the ring.
07:34Bigelow draws back the fist and gives Taz a soft tag.
07:43The ECW World Television Champion versus the ECW World Heavyweight Champion.
07:50Truly a historic matchup.
07:53Great chain wrestling as both World Champions demonstrate their craft to the world.
08:13The T-Bone Taz clicks.
08:15Clothesline on Candido.
08:20Overhead, head and arm, Caz Flex.
08:25And again, Bigelow leveling Lance Storm.
08:35At the time, we didn't catch it, but it was pretty obvious.
08:38Right in front of Taz.
08:39The franchise goes to the chair.
08:41He gets caught by Taz.
08:42Taz said he would be Bigelow's savior, and he won.
08:45Belly-to-belly, Caz Flex.
08:47Over the top rope, to the floor, on top of Candido.
08:53Taz reaches for his most prized possession.
08:56The World Television title belt again tells Bigelow, I told you I would be your savior.
09:02Taz goes down the belt, not knowing what was about to happen.
09:06And there you have it.
09:09There you have it.
09:10The trap was sprung.
09:12And Bam Bam Bigelow, who within the last couple of weeks had sold his soul back to the Triple Threat, sucked in Taz.
09:21Lance Storm that encouraged to raise the three fingers, smashed in the face by his own tag team partner.
09:30Consumed by jealousy, because his own fiancée, Sonny, Tammy, call it your life, handpicked Storm as the prospect of the Triple Threat.
09:40Chris Candido destroyed, destroyed his ECW World Tag Team Championship partner.
09:51And the only weapon used against Taz in this entire room was the World Television title belt that he loved so much.
10:05The three members of the Triple Threat raised their fingers.
10:18The franchise, Shane Douglas, Chris Candido, and Bam Bam Bigelow once again.
10:23Lance Storm was carried out of the ring on a stretcher.
10:26Taz needed medical attention.
10:28Together again, for the very first time, the Triple Threats.
10:39Oh, yeah!
10:41Yeah, Lance Storm, you get the racist thing because you're not a member!
10:47He is!
10:48Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!
10:51Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!
10:54Not only will it be Taz's challenge for the world television title by Bam Bam Bigelow,
11:00but each of our two world tag team champions will be on opposite teams on Sunday night, March 1st, live on pay-per-view.
11:08Chris Candido and a dream tag team partner will take on former Triple Brett prospect Lance Storm and a dream tag team partner.
11:17Now, I have no idea if this is how the world tag team titles will be decided because obviously Candido and Storm cannot be tag team partners anymore.
11:26Hopefully we'll have more on that story later in this hour or next week, but the match has been signed.
11:32Dream partner tag team match. Candido and his dream partner taking on Lance Storm and his dream partner Sunday night, March 1st, living dangerously.
11:47An impressive tag team to say the least.
11:54And a very athletic tag team as well.
12:00It'll be a clash in styles.
12:04Sabu and Van Dam love to take to the air.
12:07While Axelrod and Balls Mahoney just rear back with those steel chairs and put your lights out.
12:13You've got to take a break, but when we come back,
12:20Bowles and Axel take on Sabu and Rob Van Dam.
12:27Sabu!
12:28From Battle Creek, Michigan, he weighs 235 pounds, Mr. Monday Night, Rob Van Dam!
12:49The dumbbell weighs 166 and a half pounds.
12:59Anytime you're ready, you can do it.
13:01Okay.
13:01As if his ego weren't big enough, we take you back to recent footage from Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.
13:07Bill Alfonso was on hand with Mr. Monday Night,
13:10who set the world record in the Van Dam lift named after, well, its creator, Mr. Monday Night, Rob Van Dam.
13:19And like him or not, watch this.
13:22Okay.
13:23Watch the pressure on his hamstring, his shoulders, his groin.
13:28His groin.
13:35Down!
13:35What I really hate about this guy is he's as impressive as he thinks he is.
13:43Hey, I never claimed to be the showstopper.
13:45I'm Rob Van Dam.
13:47I'm the show.
13:55Back to live action.
13:56Sabu to start with Balls Mahoney.
14:01Sabu goes to the single leg.
14:05Balls wisely, props to one knee.
14:08Inside cradle on Sabu, one count only.
14:12Believe it or not, Balls Mahoney has an extensive amateur wrestling background.
14:17They're still trying to retrieve that footage.
14:20They're afraid to go into the Mahoney household, though.
14:23Waistlocked by Sabu.
14:25Sabu.
14:33Oh, now riding Sabu.
14:34Sabu shoulders are down, one and two.
14:38Drop kick inside of the right knee.
14:43Sabu trying to ground his larger opponent.
14:47Take him down to the canvas.
14:49Great right hands to the face.
14:51Sabu all over Balls Mahoney.
15:01Balls hobbling out of the corner.
15:03Fires back.
15:08Their boot to the knee.
15:09Come on, Balls!
15:11Balls!
15:12Balls!
15:12Balls!
15:13Balls!
15:14Balls!
15:14Balls!
15:14Balls!
15:14Balls!
15:14Balls!
15:15Balls!
15:16Balls!
15:16Balls!
15:17Balls!
15:17Balls!
15:17Balls!
15:17Balls!
15:18Balls!
15:18Balls!
15:19Balls!
15:19Sabu Stiles' jaw all taped up.
15:22He took a table leg in the mouth.
15:25Across the corner.
15:27Over the shoulder, backbreaker,
15:29Axelot comes off the top, turnbuckle,
15:31back to Sabu's head, smacked the canvas.
15:34He manages to kick out in two and a half.
15:45Elbow to the top of the head.
15:48Headbutt.
15:53Series of headbutts by Axelotten,
15:55who's a little rubbery-legged himself.
15:57They have targeted the head of Sabu.
16:00The back of his head crashed to the canvas.
16:02Drop to hold.
16:04Leg drop again across the back of the head.
16:08300 pounds, plus a leg drop to it.
16:10No, two count only.
16:15Pauls Mahoney just calls Sabu a freak.
16:18Sabu with the arm drag, saw that punch coming.
16:25Van Dam catches Mahoney in the head.
16:29Mr. Monday Night now checks in, backing up.
16:34Pauls Mahoney into the corner.
16:36Series of punches and kicks.
16:38Rob Van Dam dangerous with both his fists and feet.
16:42First on the Irish win.
16:44Van Dam gets the boot up.
16:46Up to the top, turnbuckle in one motion.
16:49Great agility.
16:50Leaping sidekick on the point of the jaw.
16:54He claims he's not the showstopper, he's the show.
17:00Mahoney's in it to the corner.
17:14Sabu, here's Sabu, vaults off his own tag team partner.
17:21Spin kick right in the face of Pauls Mahoney, who has got to make the tag to Axel Wright.
17:28Hooks through leg drop, both legs across the sternum and face of Pauls Mahoney.
17:38Van Dam opts not to go for the cover.
17:40Now hooks both legs, going for a Battle Creek clap.
17:47And Sabu drops the leg on Pauls Mahoney.
17:51Sabu clutching at his own lower back.
17:59Axel Rotten was trying to gold Rob Van Dam into his corner.
18:03It didn't work.
18:05Rolling thunder!
18:14Axel Rotten tried to catch Rob Van Dam as he bounced off the ropes for Adam.
18:19It did not work.
18:21Rolling thunder on Pauls Mahoney.
18:30Axel Rotten the chair from Sabu, and he got it.
18:33Oh, my God!
18:40Sabu with the leg drop across the back of the head of Pauls Mahoney, through the table to the concrete floor.
18:58Man-damn mugs for the camera, nothing we haven't seen before.
19:07Pauls Mahoney has got to make the tag to Axel Rotten, or I fear this matchup may be over in a hurry.
19:13Pauls Mahoney, what are you going to say here?
19:22Madderall plus, two at noon.
19:23Two count only.
19:24Two count only, says referee Jon Finnegut.
19:251, 2, 3, 2, 1.
19:26Sabu ascending the turnbuckle.
19:29Drove into a boot.
19:32Took a boot right into that broken jaw.
19:34Mahoney crawls in his corner, makes the tag,
19:37and comes back to life.
19:44And to run, hooks Savo, and suplexes him to the canvas.
19:49Blows by that Mr. Monday Night.
19:56Got all four men in the ring.
19:58Oh, my God!
20:03Balls was going for the Nutcracker sweep.
20:08Super kick by Balls, Mahoney.
20:10Savo is down.
20:22The Monday Night looks like a pinball.
20:24Right here.
20:27Axel Rotten going for the steel chair.
20:30Just like that, the tables have turned this baby off for Rob Van Dam.
20:35Savo hooked Axel's leg.
20:38There it is, the Van Damater.
20:40Axel Rotten had nowhere to go.
20:42Savo hooked his leg.
20:44Down goes Axel Rotten.
20:46Throw it out.
20:48Elimination?
20:50Total elimination.
20:52And there's John Cronus.
20:55He took offense to that.
20:56And rightly so.
21:05Irish whip.
21:06Spinning heel kick on Mr. Monday Night.
21:09Front kick.
21:11Spin kick at the sound room behind the ear.
21:14And Cronus marks Savo right back.
21:20But Cortland was thrown down by Savo and Rob Van Dam.
21:25Cronus picked it up.
21:27Picking up.
21:48Again Cronus pulling out Savo.
21:50That's a total.
21:51That's a total.
21:52That's a total.
21:53That's a total.
21:54Van Dam Dam.
21:55That's the Doc and Gordy.
21:56Doc and Gordy.
21:57Doc and Gordy.
21:58Doc and Gordy.
22:01Pretty good action.
22:06Well it seems that Savo and Rob Van Dam have made a new enemy.
22:11An eliminator John Cronus.
22:13He's going to get his **** kicked in and appeared in my back baby.
22:18Or they can't.
22:19We own this stuff.
22:21This is our place.

28:38Oops. Excuse me.
28:42The bell rings. Al Snow all over Doug Burnish.
28:53What the hell was that?
28:55Al Snow riding an imaginary bogo stick, much of the chagrin of Doug Burnish.
29:04Burnish in for the ride. Hooking clothesline, sends first to the Candace.
29:16There's that clap again. Seems to be an epidemic.
29:20Burnish from torso first across the top rope.
29:29His heads are squeaking.
29:33Burnish firing back.
29:39Reversal on the Irish whip.
29:44Hook to the midsection.
29:48Burnish blocks the suplex attempt.
29:50Blocks it twice.
29:52Al Snow lands on his feet.
29:54Hangman's neck breaker using the top rope.
30:03And the heads have gone wild.
30:07The heads have gone wild.
30:18Al Snow.
30:20Run into the second turnbuckle and drop the leg across the exposed bone of Doug Burnish.
30:26This is just too weird.
30:33This is just too weird.
30:35This is just too weird.
30:39Double leg takedown by Burnish.
30:48Overhead.
30:49Fell into the belly suplex.
30:51Nicely done.
30:52Al Snow's on the ride.
30:55Beautiful Frankensteiner.
30:58Lateral press 2 and 0.
31:01Two count only, says Jim Molino.
31:04Got a hand at the Doug Burnish.
31:07Still feeling the effects of the Hangman's neck breaker at the leg drop.
31:11Almost looks like he's out on his feet wrestling on instinct alone.
31:15He's such a talented, well-traveled athlete.
31:19If he ever got out of the mindset of the World Wrestling Federation and all of its constraints,
31:26he could be on top of this sport in no time.
31:29Look.
31:30Look at Al Snow.
31:31Just got planted, by the way.
31:33Awesome power slam to it.
31:35Ryan thought it was over.
31:39Pretty mature celebration at ringside.
31:42I think the head just threw him a finger.
31:46Both boots down across the eyes of Al Snow.
32:04Effortless scoop and a slam.
32:07Curtis exhibiting that great power.
32:10Snow set the line and comes rumbling to the canvas out of the court.
32:15The fans rallying behind Al Snow.
32:21But Curtis dropped the elbow.
32:24It's a great head shot.
32:26One.
32:27Two and.
32:28That's what I said.
32:32Goes up the ride.
32:37Tombstone powder over no.
32:40Snow escapes.
32:42Roll up.
32:43One.
32:44Two and up.
32:45Curtis with those massive legs kicks off Al Snow.
32:48Dropped out by Doug Curtis.
32:49Full head of steam.
32:50Tiger ball right on the back of his head.
32:56Curtis went for another Frankensteiner.
32:58Al Snow caught it in mid-air and planted it with the Tiger ball.
33:02Al Snow at the zone flank inside her.
33:03Features back.
33:04Only gets one leg hook.
33:05Curtis able to kick out.
33:09No waiting on Curtis.
33:23And there's a Larry the X heading like forearm that caught Doug Curtis between the eye.
33:40Rob, he's out.
33:43He's out!
33:45Furnish sent for the ride.
33:47He's gonna be duck that one.
33:48Scoops both legs of Al Snow.
33:53Slams him down on the canvas.
33:56But Furnace still looks wobbly, taking that forearm between the eyes.
34:02Tombstone!
34:06And a cover to it!
34:10Oh, the right shoulder came up.
34:13Mr. Right thought the matchup was over, thought it was a victory for Doug Furnace,
34:18who spiked Al Snow right on his, well, head.
34:24Speaking of which, you're watching Head TV.
34:27Let's get a word from our repotent Head expert.
34:45Al Snow's got the head.
34:47Mr. Right arguing with referee Jim Molyneux,
34:54doesn't realize he's not exactly lending a hand.
35:00The Doug Furnace, Mr. Right takes the head right in the head.
35:05Head, headbutt, cover!
35:09It's over!
35:13It's over!

35:26Yola McGillicuddy leads the extreme team of the innovator of violence Tommy Dreamer,
35:38Retriever, and the extreme icon, the Sandman to the ring.
36:08Dudley boys obviously want a piece of Dreamer and the Sandman.
36:15This should be an all-out tag Team Wolf.

37:15The lovely Beulah McGillicuddy!
37:23From Yonkers, New York, weighing in at 263 pounds, the innovator of violence, Tommy Dreamer!
37:45And ladies and gentlemen, this is the Sandman!
37:57This is the Sandman!
38:01Please, everybody, just give me a second.
38:03I'd like everybody to be quiet and listen to what I have to say because what I have to say is very important to me,
38:09and it's very important to every single one of those performers that are standing up there on the stage.
38:15You know, in ECW, you know, in ECW, you know, we got a lot of wrestlers, and we might hate some of them wrestlers, but you know what?
38:25We all consider ourselves a family around here.
38:47And every one of those wrestlers, whether they're in the back, whether they're in the ring or whether they're up there on the stage,
39:01consider every person in this building part of our family.
39:05Please keep up! Please keep up! Please keep up! Please keep up! Please keep up! Please keep up! Please keep up! Please keep up!
39:18Please, please.
39:19And when somebody in your family is hurt, that means everybody else in the family is hurt.
39:27And there's somebody right now in our family that has lost somebody very close and very dear to them.
39:33So, when they hurt, that means I hurt, that means every one of these wrestlers hurt, that
39:38means since you are part of our family, that you all should hurt, too.
39:48And that wrestler tonight happens to be this man in the ring with me, Tommy Dreamer.
39:53Now, Tommy Dreamer has lost somebody very close, very near and dear to his heart, and that
40:06was his grandpa.
40:07He lost his grandfather recently, and he's hurting, and I'm hurting bad, too.
40:13And this is my way to show him how much the rest of the family cares, and we care, that
40:21he's had a tragedy in his life.
40:23We love you, Tommy!
40:51Tommy!
40:52Tommy!
40:53Tommy!
40:54Tommy!
40:55Tommy!
40:56Tommy!
40:57Tommy!
40:58Tommy!
40:59Tommy!
41:00Tommy!
41:01Tommy!
41:02Tommy!
41:03Nobody knows, in fact, a lot of these wrestlers don't even know because they haven't met his grandfather.
41:10And me and Tommy are real close now, and he's told me all the stories about how important his grandfather was to him.
41:16In fact, his grandfather was the man that gave him the money to go to wrestling school so he could be in this rink tonight and perform.
41:33So, Grandpa Joe, this beer, this moment of silence, and this 10 count is for you.
42:03Hey, I just come here, I just come here to give my condolences, just like all the boys and all you fans.
42:28Tommy Dreamer, the only thing I wish is that it was you that died instead of your worthless, stupid grandpa.
42:58Steven Maxwell, the only thing that was said to me to privacy.
43:06Oh
43:36Oh
