00:00Once Scottie became one of the 50th best, his level of confidence, not necessarily the way he played, he was playing at top 50 before then.
00:08He just didn't know it. You feel me? He was under the influence of 23 that this is how you do it.
00:14This is how you do it. This is how you do it. I'm going to drop you something. This is how you do it.
00:19So he little brother, man, when he became top 50, it became, huh? What? Let's go.
00:25And I think to some degree, that's still there in that little rip they're having.
00:31But, you know, Laura willing, it'll come together because everybody got children and grandbabies now, man.
00:37We too old for that shit.
00:38I think he was better than MJ just from a natural U6-7 with the same components.
00:44But not only is your right, your left is that big. You know what I'm saying?
00:48And you finishing with both equally like that.
00:50The difference was, was that, think about how many guys you played with, so much was given to them that they lent to their confidence.
00:57Yeah.
00:57You know what I'm saying?
00:58So if I know that I got all of these people behind me and all of these people supporting me, then I'm going to go out and I'm going to play a different way.
01:03As opposed to, I got to prove to these people that I'm capable.
01:07Scotty come in having to prove himself from Central Arkansas, as opposed to knowing that, dude, I'm 6'7", I got handles, I got jump, I can shoot.
01:14I still got to prove myself, where M was already proven to a degree.
01:19It was just a matter of how good he was going to become.
01:21When I look at Pip's development, Pip became better with every touch.
01:26And I think, you know, when they named him the top 50, it took his confidence to a different level.
01:31But I think he felt that MJ could have done more from a business side of helping him.
01:36You know what I'm saying?
01:37From a side of sand.
01:38You think how many professional athletes today and of yesteryear who gave a piece of themselves contractually in order to keep my boy here.
01:48I think Scotty wanted a little bit of that to happen.
01:51And, you know, sometimes the friendship and like I saw a piece the other day where they was asking Scotty if him and Michael ever had a dinner together.
01:59He's like, no.
02:00How many times did just you and Michael have dinner in Chicago?
02:03Chicago has a lot of great, Scotty, stop it.
02:06Scotty, stop it.
02:07And I could see that.
02:08I could see them never sitting down.
02:11That's hard to believe, though.
02:13You know, yes, it is.
02:14But then when he said no, I thought y'all had.
02:17You know what I'm saying?
02:17At some point, you know, if nothing else at the Olympics or Dream Team, sometime y'all had to sit down.
02:24But I could believe it.
02:26After talking about it, him talking about it the way he did, I could believe it.
