00:00how do you think independence will influence the next parliament i mean it's hard to know
00:24obviously we just don't know whether or not we'll have a situation where neither of the
00:28major parties will be able to form a majority government and will need the support of
00:32independence personally i hope that that is the case because i think that we can force the parties
00:38whichever major party it is that might end up forming government to take action on the things
00:43that matter to electorates like koong which is the cost of living crisis the housing crisis
00:49you know the fact that young people are telling me that they don't think they'll ever be able to
00:53afford a home of their own in their own lifetime if their parents aren't in a position to help them
00:58out if we don't change the laws around tax in this country people young people in particular
01:05but also their parents are saying that they feel that the major parties don't have the
01:10the vision that they need them to have that they haven't come up with any new visionary policies
01:17to and brought them to this election and that they feel that the crossbench will will push the parties
01:22to act on the things that they want action on like housing and cost of living thank you thank you
01:27thank you very much
01:27you
