00:34season i want to see where they are three four months in yeah well i think with the giants it
00:40just kind of comes down to pitching and they're probably getting a little more hitting than a
00:44lot of people uh thought they might and you know when you put those two things together you know i
00:49think i was on uh your show and we were going through the divisions and in spring training and
00:54we both sort of circled the giants as a team where you know if things come together maybe a wild card
01:00push but we weren't necessarily that bullish on them but it has kind of come together at least for
01:05the first month and change of the season here and and the pitching's been great they play solid defense
01:11and they're just kind of getting the hitting as they need it and when you look at it overall uh i i think
01:16the pitching's good enough as we put the caveat as we do with everything uh you know if they stay
01:22healthy i think this is a team that can kind of continue where they're at they're obviously in a
01:26division where it's going to be exceedingly difficult to challenge for a division title but
01:30a postseason run is certainly in the cards if they if they just kind of keep doing what they're doing
01:35and with the tigers yeah that it starts with the pitching there too uh and i do think that that
01:41rotation is good enough that was something when you looked at it in spring training you thought
01:46well they they have the best pitcher best starter maybe in all of baseball and they have uh some good
01:53additions who are going to help too throughout the entire uh pitching staff so i i think they're there
01:59i think that with the al central not being all that strong i think that this is a team that can continue
02:05to stack wins because they hit they're getting just enough hitting there again somewhat similar to
02:10the giants i think they're a little better maybe a little more consistent with the bats and a team that
02:15you look at as a team that can be there you know all the way through the end or in your case really
02:20all the way through the end we'll see if they can go that far but uh there's certainly a solid team
02:25that you know i expect that they have all the ingredients to make a deep postseason run
