Swedish activist Greta Thunberg said on Friday (May 2) she will continue to fight for a “free Palestine” after an activists aid ship headed for Gaza that she was due to board was bombed by drones.
The Freedom Flotilla Coalition, an international non-governmental group, published video footage showing a fire on one of its ships, named the Conscience, and pointed the finger at Israel.

00:00Last night, half past midnight, a ship carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza was attacked by two
00:09drones on international waters off the coast of Malta and 30 people were on board and this attack
00:20caused an explosion and major damage to the vessel which made it impossible to continue the mission
00:27and these 30 people are okay but it is still an emergency and I was part of the group who was
00:40supposed to board that boat today to continue the voyage towards Gaza
00:49which is one of many attempts to open up a humanitarian corridor and to do our part to
01:00keep trying to break the Israel's illegal siege on Gaza. For two months now not a single bottle of
01:10water has entered Gaza and it's a systematic starvation of two million people and Palestinians
01:19have been resisting the unimaginable oppression for decades and the silence and the passivity
01:30largely from the outside world is completely deadly and we all have a moral responsibility
01:37to act against that and to do our part to demand accountability for war criminals and
01:44and our own government's complicity in this genocide and illegal occupation and siege. The ship is currently
01:55still as far as I know at the location where it was attacked
02:01because if it would move too much water would come in and it would sink
02:07so that is where we are right now. What happens now is uncertain but what is certain is that
02:16us human rights activists will continue to do everything in our power to do our part to
02:25to demand a free Palestine and demand the opening of a humanitarian corridor
02:31the coming days and the coming months and the coming months and years.
02:40I'm going to make sure we can increase our fillers so魔ically with no more
02:48and all of the people who have been stopped so much for us to do everything in our way.
02:51So as we can see that again, we've been able to take the opportunity to do everything in our power
02:53we have actually sparked the opportunity to do everything in the way.
