Sonprayag (Uttarakhand), May 1, 2025 (ANI): Helicopter services started from Sonprayag for Kedarnath Yatra 2025. The doors of Baba Kedarnath will open for devotees on May 2 at 7 am. Char Dham Yatra, which encompasses visits to Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath, is one of the most significant pilgrimages in India, attracting lakhs of people every year. “The online tickets for the service are available on IRCTC and the offline tickets are available through DM or sector Magistrate. We operate around 20-30 shuttles per day, serving over 150 pilgrims... If the weather is favourable, 25-30 rounds are operable and if not, tickets are cancelled... Security is well taken care of. Passengers are briefed before the ride... Online bookings per day are 150 and advanced bookings are also in the process. The bookings are open for a month,” said Pawan Rana.
